I also applied... I'm looking for fun and nice people who i can help and maybe get some help from... Playing solo gets kinda lonely... ironic for a game like DAYZ :) I also play low pop server because too many players kos. Can't blame them, i am sometimes tempted to do the same, but i always want to give a chance... and end up paying the price... So i play solo on low pop, raid military bases and am pretty much as geared as could be. Hunting zombies can only entertain you for awhile... So it's either i find a nice group of people to adventure with, or i shoot at random people out of sheer boredom :-) j/k, can't bring myself down to that and wreck someone else's hard work :-)

Followed someone else's suggestion for another problem, turned off my antivirus... Game is all fine now...

OMG the "turn off your antivirus thing" fixed it for me...

I have noticed lots of people complaining about lag on BE servers, but i don't think that is my problem... I lag everywhere... in a BE server, in a non-BE server, in the menu... Between spikes, i get glimpses of a very smooth game, but longest i've been able to run the game smooth without spiking is about 8 seconds. I have tried to lower everything to the weakest quality, it makes no difference watsoever except for the fact that...well, everything gets uglier. If anyone has a clue on how to fix that... I have tried the verify your files/validte your files thingy in the properties of the Steam library, fixed nothing...
