  1. I thought they had, in a recent patch, made it so that you die/lose your character if you log out while handcuffed or unconscious?
  2. I mainly played Epoch rather than vanilla DayZ and most players I came across were quite friendly and helpful. I guess everyones experience of the game is different lol.
  3. I've noticed in DayZ standalone there seems to be a lot more people killing on sight than there were in the mod.
  4. Well if you are like the bandit I described then you also cant shoot for shit, so there wont be any bullets going in my brain haha xD
  5. I don't mind being shot at, its the combat logging when you shoot back, gets annoying after a while lol
  6. I see what you're trying to say there Leo but no I don't KOS and combat log, I try to be friendly, it's a game to be enjoyed, don't see the point in shooting everyone you see. That's what games like Call of Duty and Battlefield are for lol.
  7. Atnas, I don't mind what server I play on, PvP is part of the game. I just find it unbelievable the kind of players you come across sometimes. And yeah, it certainly is Nagster.
  8. This has happened to me a few times before and the same thing occurred again today so thought I'd post about it. I was running along the fence at Balota airstrip, no weapons in hand, and a bandit sat camping somewhere decides to start shooting at me with his absolutely piss poor aim. I took cover and surveyed the area to see where they were. As soon as I spotted them and returned fire, they combat logged. It amazes me what such great players can be found in Chernarus sometimes. Shoot on sight, cant even hit a barn door if they tried, then combat log because someone returns fire. You have to laugh about it really, and at the same time feel sorry for them because playing like that isn't really, in my opinion, experiencing DayZ to the full. Has anyone else come across this kind of player? Would be interesting to hear your stories too.
