Hello. First of all, I want to say that I know this is an Alpha version of the game and they keep updating this game with new features constantly. With that being said, I am sure I am not the only one who complains about this game optimization. The staff simply don't give a sh*t about the optimization because they didn't imrpoved it. They asked almost 30$ for an Alpha and they can't make a decent optimization? This is ridiculous. And don't tell me that they can't make a good optimization, if that's true, then it's another problem, a very big problem. I really have trust in this project, it's a great idea, I know it's an Alpha but at least they could make it run decent on a mid-cost rig. For example, I'm running all the games on ultra and get a minimum of 60 FPS and in this game, when I'm in Elektro it drops up dramatically to 15 FPS, even If I have all settings to Very Low. I am telling you and you should know it, if this problem won't be fixed untill the game will be realesed, a lot of people will stop playing and will forget about DayZ, the playerbase will be lowered. I just hope a member of the staff will read this message and won't come up with a stupid automatic answer like: "It's just alpha" or "We can't do this right know".

Pretty good, I'm glad that the combat logging was fixed. I'm curious if my FPS will increase after this update.

@teeheelols and @Deer Dear The game will run on Very Low, probably pretty decent.

@TheHamilbum At the moment, DayZ Standalone is a very unstable game in terms of optimization. For example, a decent computer may run DayZ better than a high performance computer. With your settings, I guess you will be able to play it with a decent FPS. I'll give you another example, I have a good CPU, i7 4700HQ and I still have pretty big problems in term of FPS. I hope you undestand. @Shodex In my opinion, your rig is great and at the moment you don't need to buy another part just to play an alpha game. Wait for the official release, or at least Beta to see if the optimization problem will be fixed.

@TheHamilbum Your CPU is weak, maybe you will run DayZ at Very Low setings with decent FPS, but I doubt it. @Shodex You have a good rig, but don't expect 40-60 FPS in this game. You will run at max 35 FPS with tweaks done. @stevenbcfg You don't have a proper video card? I don't know what to say because I don't know how Intel GPU's works. If you ask me, I think it will run on Very Low, but I don't guarantee it.

@Mendo Your PC is not very good, you will struggle to gain 20 FPS at Very Low settings, maybe with some tweaks you will have 25 FPS, but in cities you will struggle at 15 FPS max. @Silent Havok You have a very weak PC, your PC just can't handle it. Buy another rig.

I'm really curious if the optimization problem can be fixed in the future, at least we deserve an answer.

Good, it's a very nice update. If you can do something about optimization, please do it.

Just set the document priority to "Read only" and it will be fixed.

The game will run, but on very low settings. Maybe with tweaks you will be able to play it on low.

For me, "-winxp" boost 20-30 FPS, but the Game crashes everytime I hit Alt+Tab. In my opinion, it's worth it.

It's simple, the game has a poor optimisation, so don't buy it if your PC have low/mid specs.
