My friend and I are having this same problem, first it was me then after he killed me at my request he began having the same issue... it has made the game completely unplayable, seems to have started after the 1/6 update as i NEVER had ANY issues prior to that update... i wish i could find more out about this, i have been scouring these forums for the past 4 days and have found 3 post but no fixes...

my friend has started having the same issue... coincidentally it started for him afer he shot and killed me because we couldn't see each other, he assumed i wasn't me. now he has the "Zombie AIDS" our new name for it, i guess i gave it to him... lol Now it's down to just waiting for a fix i guess... good luck all

Same issue here... and have done all that you have as well... i feel better knowing i'm not alone... also where did you read that he was fixing it in a new update? i havent seen that
