Like I said, been gone since February when I pretty much got bored with the alpha. Anyone care to highlight the major changes that have been made since then? Still been keeping an eye on the game every now and then and I think im even gonna load in and play a little bit. Has loot begun to respawn yet? Now for a mini rant haha. I've also heard that the game has accumulated a large number of these "doomsday prepper" type people. Which is cool, you do you, but I get on this forum for the first time in months and the first thread I see is about wanting to add taking a shit to the game......are you F@#king joking? Anyway, sorry if this came off a bit troll-esque but wanted to see what the current state of the game is from other players, and not flipping through a bunch of patch notes. See you in chernarus!

Yes I server hopped. To find people. There was no one there. Had a nice little sit in the middle of the run way. What gives? Full servers also, atleast 35/40

The last few days I've had a couple of shit-my-pants moments. A buddy and myself were patrolling the coast to do some banditry and look for a firefight. We were creeping in the trees near Kamyshovo and heard some shots VERY close by. We maintained our positions and listened intently for more shots. Low and behold I see an armed player walk INCHES in front of my bush, oblivious to the fact I was there. A quick spray to his back and he went down. Rendezvoused with my bud and we headed north and spotted another two players to our immediate right that had just become visible from behind the giant rock near the road. An intense open field firefight ensued with us being the victors, however Id be lying if I said I didn't get swiss cheesed. I was blood bagged and patched up and we continued on. All of this occurred in 5 minutes. Never a dull moment.

Ok Ill give you that the 10/22 is not the harbinger of doom, however Im afraid the weapon will be under powered in Day Z. It shouldn't take 5+ shots to drop a survivor. I own the weapon in real life and know how it shoots. It's not an M4 or Mosin by any means but if you were to get shot even once by the 10/22 (Headshot = instant death), you're not going to have a fun time. Depending on where you get hit depends on if you'll still be standing. Lots of things play into that though, especially the type of ammunition used. That is unfortunate but would you feel any better if someone shot you and killed you? Don't get attached to your stuff :(

I support your enthusiasm for keeping the realism of the game as authentic as possible, but I don't think anything like this will ever stop players from using VOIP.

So I took 2 years of russian in college and I am the designated translator when we run into a street sign. I am by no means fluent but I am able to read the street signs and sometimes Im really grateful for that ability lol. So im curious..any non-native russian speakers that share in this ability?

KOS doesn't need to be fixed because its not broken. Its a part of the game and quite frankly if you dont like it maybe Day Z isnt for you. There is an entire slew of other games out there that you can play where getting killed by players wont be a problem, but this game isnt one of them.
