Stand alone attachment system = COD

Yeah I know right, so unrealistic! Hopefully they'll get rid of the zombies soon too because that is just too far fetched for me.

Causes the for existence of KOS.......poll

    All of the options.

    Police Stations?

Don't forget that they are planning on increasing the server capacity, so more loot spots would be needed for more players.

    Team Speak

Oh and for those claiming that you're not going to betray someone on TeamSpeak, this is still entirely possible as it's easy to block someone/mute them so that you don't have to hear from them again if you so choose.

    Team Speak

Rocket himself uses TeamSpeak when he plays which is tantamount to some sort of endorsement. As people have said this is a video game, and lots of people get the most enjoyment from then when playing with friends. Removing external communication software like TS makes makes playing with friends extremely difficult, to the point of being nearly impossible- not to mention boring when you're running across the map with no one to talk to. And even when you are using TS in game confusion can still be an issue, as friendly fire incidents or being killed by someone you thought was your friend are still very common. TeamSpeak isn't going anywhere, and if it did people would still find a way to communicate as theirs simply too many options. Perhaps the only thing to be done is for those that want to maximise in game 'realism' is for those people to group together, and play on a server under agreement not to communicate with players outside of the in game methods of communicating.
  6. Here's the situation, you're fully geared either on your own or with a group and you head to Kamyshovo (or somewhere else that seems busy lately) to see if there are any fresh spawn killers to engage. You don't see anyone shooting and you inevitably bump into some fresh spawns who are passing through. After a little interaction with them for some information, or making them pay some form of arbitrary toll to proceed (i'm thinking their trainers) you tell them they are free to go and that you're not going to kill them. Maybe you even gave them something helpful like food or drink, all the while telling them not to get too close and raise their fists because that will end with them getting killed. So at this point you expect them to head off, or to continue looting or whatever it was they were up to before you stopped them for a chat. But so many of these players just seem to linger, some for so long and with more than a little bit of suspicion about them that they inevitably get gunned down in a hail of M4 fire. So why is it that so many players seem to stick around in a situation where they aren't entirely welcome, and should probably be somewhat relieved that they've been given the chance to stay alive? Sure there is the possibility that they might knock you unconscious with a well placed punch to the head, but the chance of that happening to any player with even the slightest bit of situational awareness is incredibly small, with the odds rapidly decreasing if the guy with a gun has a friend with a gun their too. Other than if you're really lagging bad its going to be nearly impossible, so why bother hanging about with your chance of getting killed increasing by the minute?

So why do people refuse being held up?

A lot of the people that have tried to hold me up have been very nervy and unclear with their instructions, often i can barely hear them over direct chat and when I instinctively turn to the direction of the sound I am shot, even when unarmed. On two concurrent occasions where I complied with a bandits instructions I was then shot on site, so now I generally try and make a run for cover hoping that the player is a bad shot.

Any bandits that don't kill on sight?

A lot of the time when people have tried to hold me up they get way too nervy, begin panicking and start letting off shots. Carrying out a non-lethal hold up is quite a skill I think, and lots of players need to work at it.
  9. A good punch or combo of them in real life can leave someone out cold or seriously dazed, so I think it's a good and realistic addition to the game. There is obviously a need to factor in variables though such as head gear being worn.
