Frankly I enjoy Dayz for the most part. I love the concept. But it is completely disheartening when the slow paced build up of surviving and killing so well, to only be killed by some mass killing hacker is just bullshit... I'm done for awhile.

This just happened on Chicago 16 2:22 PST, was in Stary, I think I yelled fast enough for my friends to log off but I got launched in the air dead nearly instantly, didn't hit the ground. These are cheaters though these are just people griefing the game for the sake of griefing, ruins the game for everyone. I'm honestly done with Dayz for a bit until a bit more security can be established, I strive to be a high quality and skilled player being careful and killing anyone in my sights (sniper) I am rewarded with this determination by being launched and instantly killed by what I assume is my cover 500 feet into the air. I had a AS50, Ghillie, M4A3 Holo 203, (10 SD Mags), Coyote, you name it. been Alive for about 1.5 Weeks now. I could care less if my life was finally ended by a fellow sniper or anyone else in a fight, even if it involved server hopping ghosting, not the fairest fight mind you but still bullet for bullet. But dieing to this kinda shit is just disheartening.

The server has been mislabeled as 1.7 , or 1.7.1 for some time now even though it has been keeping with patches and been intentionally using past patches but current patch data to leave less players on this up to date server. This is the only grit I can prove it on. The Server Admin is on frequently and the camp we had hidden away was just raided today, obviously there is the possibility that it was scouted but of course unlikely given the server population rarely going above 6-9 players ever. Of the players on the server the server admin was the only one we knew who had the logictics to completely loot the camp we had in the short timespan of about 30minutes, as the vehicles in the camp would be incapable of carrying the 3-4 tents worth of equipment as the vehicles were also full. In anycase although the admin *appears* to be running a legit server, he's obviously trying to keep it lower profile by mislabeling it. It may be note worthy that only a 2 days ago it was Chicago 49. I'm not mad about the loss rather suspicious about admin abuse hearing that it is indeed possible for Server admins to have full access and knowledge of all these locations and are allowed to even play on their own server.

Confirmed that FN Fals can spawn at Barracks extremely rarely. We just found a crash site with 2x FN Fal, and 2x FN Fal ANPVS4

So as of right now, a Female Character cannot wear a ghillie suit? Correct? I could careless if I end up getting the male model of the ghillie suit when worn but I don't think a camo model is nessicary yet, nice but I can do without for now.

I have found generally I can only trust people who I am in Voip with, just most people it seems can't bring themselves to be a total dick over voip. + rather then slaughtering everyone its a common knowledge that we can achieve far greater things in numbers I.E taking over and massacre'n airfield.

I wondered about that how messing with the zoom affects the zero'ing and milldot respresentations. Though when I was testing with the DMR prior, and taking a 600M shot with and without Max zoom, I noticed no difference given the appropriate Milldot. Just wish the AS50 had a range guide on the side of it, like the PSO has.

we picked up a FN FAL last night wish it was that version but wow that thing is a beast. Rocket needs to update it to use the DMR mags imo, rare enough weapon as it is should beable to use the DMR mags given the same rounds. FN Fal on burst fire sounds amazing, its like thor the god of thunder knocking on your door.

most don't even know what an alpha is nor what is considered playable in an alpha, usually not much. yes this is in alpha state so massive changes are in effect and should be encouraged to develop important mechanics for more solid releases. Release big, record data, learn, develop. This is how a beta is formed by trial and error, but generally done by a Alpha team of testers not a 200,000 person public test which I would discourage for alpha testing but hey it seems to have gotten plenty of support from the fan base. just lots of idiot naysayers who don't even know what an Alpha or a closed beta really is. this is an alpha level of game/mod it really is, so go cry more. I.e expect big changes, expect stuff to break, etc. If Rocket did care though he could establish more of a Alpha testing community, and establish a more stable patch, say like 1.7.0, and let the alpha community deal with all the hotfixes and all the bumps till the next stable patch is implemented, much like how closed beta's operate.

I just wish I could click my knife and it do a butcher command specifically for animals (not zombies) so that I could silently kill animals.

Think of starting now more like hunger games, either A. Run into the main town and try to find a weapon and basic provisions really fast or B. try your luck further away in smaller towns in A you may encounter stupid amount of zombies which should be easy, I don't crawl through a town I sprint through towns now and dodge from zombies, but more over is players like me who will shoot to kill anyone. in B you may not find what you need to survive, so choice is yours.

The current Hotfix is bugged with absolutely no Soda or Food spawning in buildings. Once thats fixed, we'll see not insane loot spawning in residential area's like matches watches galore, alice etc.

Spawns are bugged right now should be addressed today, i found like 3 alice packs in 1 supermarket. So I'd advice grab what goodies you can right now (tools), then log off till hotfix is in place because right now, there is absolutely No Soda, or Food Spawning at all except on zombies.

ya I'm finding a alarming amount of Watches, Alice, bags, Maps... Etc, but I think I need to stay logged off till food comes back =\

There are plenty of servers that are in all sorts of varied time zones, including NA servers that are in GMT 0 or +2 etc, allowing for night play during day. As for a list I'm not sure, not all servers advertise their settings, also because maybe its frowned upon to have inversed servers in NA?

I agree for the most part, I for one am already sick of being seen through a wall, doing so much work to get through a town undetected only to aggro a massive horde unprovoked and unseen. Mechanics to lose zombies would be much appreciated, that or more reliable ways to deal with a single zed, (Mr. Hatchet I think)

reason why spawns are near the coast is because its significantly easier to orientate yourself without a map and only given the online one, once otherwise you need to wander around looking for a landmark.

Main issue with jabbing yourself, you've lost about 60% of your blood barely concious, and jittering like crazy, you think trying to A. Find a Vein, B. Stab sharp object into vein would be easy? though I mean life or death I would still try but ya.
