Ive had an SVD for about two weeks now with four full mags hunting players. Its an insane gun ,thats for sure. 10 kills so far. Most of them inland.

Haven't tried the VSS yet ,but i found an SVD two nights ago. That gun is insane. Took out 3 zombies from 500 meters and a player from 600. Stationary targets though. Insane that its also semi automatic.

So no audio for that presentation today... Damn. Was so looking forward to hearing what he actually said...

Here's a better idea. Remove 1st person view altogether. No , I didn't misspell that.

I will never understand why people are so against the 3rd person camera. Can't you just go play 1st person servers? Jeez..

Ive had my tent on a private server for 48 hours. Only thing that has vanished every login is my garden.

I hope they can do something like this with the new renderer :)

lets try something else first. Remove 1st person from the game. Only aiming with gun is first person. I'm disgusted by people who want everyone to play by their rules. Can't handle 3rd person? Play hardcore then. Waste of time this whole thread. Yes I play both and prefer none.

I never played the mod. I just watched all of frankies videos and bought the standalone as soon as it was out. I have close to 1000 hours of ingame playtime already. 30 bucks? I would gladly have paid double that.

Could be a graphical bug.. This was an elektro camper shooting newspawns. Server didn`t seem laggy and its pretty clear i hit with those first two shots. Can someone explain this one?

Respawned again and found a can opener right away. I guess the dayz gods felt bad for that last round. I believe this was a hacker... Cant tell for sure though. Maybe the shotgun is bugged. To bad i didn`t get to shoot off that last shot with the longhorn.

Most bandits dont need your gear. I have my own gear and my own food. I kill you because its the only entertainment in this game right now. That`s why your playerbase is KOS. What do you friendlies do exactly? Give away beans? The world ain`t harsh enough. You give away beans to someone who doesn`t need it. I do actualy have a cool story about a friendly player though. Playing hardcore on experimental ,i saw another player in the treeline. Charged towards me with a mosin and i instantly thought "Him or me". Well apparently this guy was a better shot than me and shot me unconcious. So about 1 minute later ,im waiting for either "you are dead" or a second shot to kill the bastard. I hear a voice. Apparently he had bandaged and handcuffed me. He had apparently shot me because i had raised my gun. He took 20 rounds out of my backpack and left the rest. Then he left. Disappeared back into the woods. That was an awesome guy.

Its happened twice in a row now. Stable branch ,Balota ,Fully geared. Next login spawning on beach with nothing. Has anyone experienced something similar? These are the only two wipes i have ever had and they both happened at Balota.

Yeah sorry about that title error. Went a little fast since i was mad. Tried logging into other servers with no luck. gonna try again tomorrow and hope the dayz gods are nice..

Both times the server restarted. I didn`t log out.

Last night ,me and 2 others attacked a guy who had absolutely nothing. I shot his leg so he couldn`t walk. The other two proceeded to hack him to death with pickaxes. All for testing purposes of course. These guys need to learn not to run in the open. I`ll turn away from the dark side when i got enough target practice.

Some people are complaining im a bandit in the comments. I guess they mean KOSer. What would DayZ be without us? We`re the adrenaline.

I was aiming for his head. Im not that great of a shot.

A can of beans to all alpha testers would be a nice gesture. edit: Shit that`s two million cans of beans. That`ll will crash something.
