Agree. Its always your fault ,unless killed by a bug or glitch in the game. KOSers cant KOS unless they see you first. If your seen its your fault.

I have played 500 hours on a lot of different servers. Never ONCE have i encountered a hacker. You guys sure this ain`t just desync or lag?

I play standard and i use the camera to look over walls and around corners. I kos everyone i see except my friends. Hardcore is for people who think field of view is 90 degrees.

I dont think people are crying as much as i expected. 2 million sales and very few of those are complaining. If 10 000 people are complaining out of 2 million... just sayin... I have huge expectations of this game at this point. The more i play ,the more hyped i get.

I have hopes that they`ll optimize this stuff soon. A heapload of people have massive FPS drops in these places. I even go down to 16-17 fps in the smaller towns for some reason. (Not the smallest though. Medium sized towns)

Pretty sure i have heard children crying in the woods around green mountain. You simply dont go there. Especially at night. Never go at night.

Didn`t read this entire thread ,but im all for choppers. No gunships though. I dont think they fit this setting. News ,police chopper etc would be cool. Maybe an armed littlebird with miniguns as an end game goal. Old russian tanks would be cool to.

I still have an M4 since before the last update. Got to say ,i i love that these guns are harder to come by now. Even hoppers having problems aquiring them. Forces people to use "lesser" weapons like mosins ,shotguns and pistols. At least gives me a chance to survive if shot at first.

Oh and another thing to answer the question of this thread. There are more 3rd person servers because people like to play in 3rd person.

I want to play with 3rd person on. I have this advantage because others have this advantage. People can see me while they are behind stuff. So can i. If i only wanted 1st person i`d play in hardcore servers. They are seperated. I play how i want to play. People who play in hardcore mode aren`t more elite than players who use 3rd person. All i have said is the absolute truth and i cant be persuaded otherwise.

This game has the potential to be my all time favorite game so no. I`ll never loose faith. Loving the new patch by the way. Crashed to desktop 3-4 times yesterday though. Hope it gets fixed soon.

My first rule of thumb is to be hidden. I usualy have bushes behind me while being almost inside another. I do this so the only view people can see me is from the front. If anyone looks my way i`ll just look like part of the plant. Use 3D person to hide the barrel of your gun so it looks like a branch from the side. Never do sudden moves. It makes you stick out from the background. If you have to move ,do it slowly. Dont make any noise whatsoever. If you have to reload/eat/drink. Go inside a nearby bush so people cant see the animation from far away. I have propably seen a hundred people move past my position and i didn`t fire. Simply because the risk is to big. This is after all a survival game. lol

This should of course be possible. ,but it's to early for features like these to be implemented. Hope they come later though ;)

Hopefully this suggestion never happens. Divides the playerbase. I want every single type of player on every server. It's what makes the game so much more than an ordinary shooter. Arma doesn't give the same feel as dayz(yes I play both)

Combat logging still works. Did some sniping yesterday and people just ran into buildings and logged. My fault for not landing killshots I guess :p

weren't we talking about adding invincible dogs? I'd love more gore in dayz. Gun wounds and blood splatter for example. Rape however won't ever happen. To controversial. Don't even see any reason to discuss that. Won't happen.
