I'm pretty sure the current season in the game isn't winter, though. There's loads of green foilage, some brown as well, so perhaps late summer early autumn. There's insects flying around as well, something that wouldn't occur if the temperature was too low. However, it's alpha and all that. Temperature doesn't seem to have been implemented correctly in any way, so that is probably something that will get fixed somewhere down the road.

Are you sure he sits down when logging? The clips I have seen only shows them crouching, then proning, then crouching again then standing up etc. No sitting.

One of the perks of the addition of new guns in the patches is that you will indeed find these m4s with everything, even ammo, lying around as players encounter the new guns and decides they like those better than the m4. I found 2 fully kitted m4s with ammo as well, although at the time I would rather have found the SKS which I was looking for. When I finally found the SKS I spent a couple of minutes firing off all my m4 ammo before dropping it and all my empty mags. Didn't want to get shot in the back by some noob with my old gun when I was leaving town. -
My thoughts exactly, although I also think it is kinda cool that they still do pose a threat, at least to some players.

Unfortunately when it comes a realistic gun presence in the game, which adheres to the game mythology surrounding Chernarus, that train has left the station long ago with the prevalence of the m4 and now the b95. So I guess anything could be possible, though I am not personally a fan of the eclectism regarding the origin of guns in the game. -
Hopefully they've also fixed the bug that caused broken legs to heal themselves if you relogged.

Has anyone actually experienced bleeding following this latest patch? I am wondering if perhaps (voluntarily or accidentally) it may have been turned off. -

Why not just let the devs fix whatever is making the buttstock and other items causing this? A wipe seems to me only to be treating symptoms. -

It will return though if you go near such objects or players carrying such objects again. The only real fix is the upcoming hotfix for this, unfortunately. -

Haha, yes. I found one yesterday as well, went straight for the nearest zombie, which had its back turned to me, and proceeded to slash at it. While I did that it just casually turned around to face me and proceeded to claw me multiple times. I ended up having to pull my gun to finish it, because it seemed to be completely unbothered by my countless machete slashes. -
However the 10 mins cap on the existence of dead bodies is a severe limitation to the effect of this. I hope it is only temporary until they get some optimisation done, because I think it is a vital part of the immersion and gameplay of DayZ that the signs of combat and killing should be present for a much longer time.

Every time they introduce a new object it gets an increased spawn rate than other objects so it can be properly tested. It will be lowered in future patches.

Haha. Perhaps next time the guy trying to cuff him should not stand between the victim and the guy covering him with the gun. That guy noticed it, and even had time for a little goodbye gesture. Thanks for posting, though. These kind of fails are usually not only more entertaining than the usual "I am badass hero, I killed these 6 bandits" videos, but also much more informative. Also beans for not killing him when you probably could have. -

I found my B95 in the arch house. And the SKS in the office and piano room. The SKS is definitely my current favourite (and will probably be until they introduce the AK-74). Versatile, plenty of rounds in the gun and a very fine looking piece. My main character on the hardcore carries that, while my character on regular, which I mainly use for experimentation and such currently carries the B95, just to test it out. It is really great to have these fine guns spawning in civilian areas. I have completely stopped going to military areas, because except for ammo boxes, there simply isn't anything there which I need that I can't find in civilian buildings.

It has nothing to do with that. The current stable version contains some bugs that creates on and off fps drops and memory leaks. There has been a ton of threads on this today.

It seems there are some issues with some servers not connecting properly to the hive atm. I have had 2 CTDs today on account of the memory leak, and when I tried to reconnect to a server I was a newspawn, however changing to another server my old character was back. So if you experience this try and change server (you just have to sit out the login countdown), it may very well fix your problem. -
I just found a damaged green hard hat and tried it out. I ate a can of tuna, but it stayed damaged. Afterwards I drank some sodas. Next thing I know when I looked at inventory it is pristine. So either the effect isn't instantaneous, or it is drinking that repairs it.

Haha, that's quite an odd bug. Now I wish I had picked up that badly damaged green hard hat I found earlier.
