Those village restaurants as well as office buildings seems to be where I find them in abundance when I am not carrying a mosin.

Go to Balota military tents. Noone goes there anymore and you will find everything you need and plenty of it.

I've found one press vest in my around 150 hours of SA. It was on the ship.

Currently action is concentrated on that small upper right corner of the map where everybody spawn. So castles are definitely not where its happening atm. Hopefully hunting will disperse players more, and even more hopefully spawn locatioons will be changed.

I'm rather confident the current loot level is not what it is going to be in release stages of the game, its going to be a lot less.

I'm not particular keen on having helicopters in the game either. They seem too powerful and destroys the purpose of having a bare survival game. But it is difficult to say what they will be like until we have some sort of vehicles in the game to compare with regarding repairing, gathering of parts and vulnerability.

I have an extensive book collection in real life, even comprising some first editions of some of the books in game, so I am not really directly interested in books in the game, because I prefer having the paper version in my hand, I like the smell of an 18th century book in the morning. But I do acknowledge them in the game for their rarity and I personally automatically prefer people who care about them in game, and who, like me, can't help but just check the title of the book they found on the shelf when looting.

There is KoS and there is KoS. Most players make a distinction between armed players and freshspawns. There are no two ways about it: The players shooting the people in both the videos posted here are the scum of the earth. As they not only shot unarmed freshspawns, but they shot them clearly knowing they were no threat.

No problem. Always very enlightening to see videos of other players failing just like I fail on a regular basis. It boosts the spirits somewhat. Keep them coming (I know I will keep the fails coming).

I doubt it. They will of course eventually cut back on canned food and other lootable foodstuffs, but it is not likely to happen until much later in development. Don't get me wrong, I look forward to it happening. I was just pointing out the obvious error in the OP. It's not going to happen with the hunting patch, it's going to happen much later.

I'm not a vegetarian, but as far as I can make out the OP asks whether hunting being implemented will change any dedicated vegetarians from a vegetable diet of fresh fruit, canned beans and the usual loot. I'm not a mind reader either, but I am gonna say no on the OPs question. Why would they do that when canned and uncanned non-meat foods are still readily available. And what is this thread for anyway?
