:P Just saw this in hardcore exp right now. There was an m4 with all the fittings, a grenade, mags and more. But since I was on the lookout for the AKM (already found a 30 mag at the tent city) I only took the nade.

I tried sharpening my badly damaged splitting axe with a rock I mined, but I can't figure out how to get the option to do it. Nothing seems to work, dragging one thing to the other, holding the rock, or the axe, right clicking etc. Does anyone know the exact steps how to do this?

Yes, someone posted a pic of the medikit doing the same. Apparently if you hold the container in your hands and double click take items in vicinity they end up in the container. Seems to be a bug introduced in the new build.

Ah I see. I haven't really bothered carrying alcohol tincture, since that first time I stumbled upon one and, alcoholic as ever, I promptly drank the stuff which of course caused me to become sick and die. -
Chernarus is nothing like Germany, it is much much poorer and with less infrastructure, and the part we are playing is obviously not the part of the country where they would place a mall. But a supermarket and some department stores wouldn't be out of place.

Prague, Budapest and Bratislava are all cities much much larger than anyone currently on the map. The area we are playing in is obviously a rural backwater of the country. There could perhaps be a larger regional station in one of the towns, but it seems unlikely to be an entire complex with grocery stores and such. Same goes for a major civilian airport. While again from a gaming perspective it would be an interesting setting, it does seem unrealistic for anything but a small terminal with a parking lot to be set there.

While a mall or shopping center would be interesting from a purely zombie survival view of things (zombie movies set in malls are just great), it would probably be unrealistic for the setting. But one supermarket and some department stores wouldn't be unrealistic in the bigger towns like Cherno and Novo. After all we are talking about several decades since the end of the Soviet Union, and since it seems every other home in Chernarus does contain a tv and a computer, they would probably have bought that stuff somewhere locally.

2 and 4 are bugs (which occurs with every gun atm), and they will be fixed in next exp update.

Since the introduction of hunting I've seen two rabbits, and they have become very fast. I tried shooting the second one with my 1911 but it was gone before I could even fire the first shot. I have seen footage from other players of a dead rabbit, so yes, you can kill rabbits, they are just very tricky to catch (as they should be).

No there doesnt. What would be the point in making military grade locations safer than the rest of the map? It is your own damn fault for deciding to camp and do unnecessary stuff in a high danger zone. Get the loot and get out of there if you don't want to kill or be killed, it be against a server hopper or not. -
Devs: Will be fixed in next exp update. I am guessing that means the next update to the current exp build, not the next exp build after this one goes stable.

Since it obviously seems to be inherent in the firehouse and jail buildings, I wonder if it wouldn't be an overall benefit to the game just to replace those buildings with new models? They are kinda outdated after all, and jailhouse fighting has long since turned into a predictable borefest anyways. Would help distance the SA from the mod as well. -

Found these two: Incidentally the one in the first video is almost exactly where I experienced the bug as well (only I was standing between the bunks in front of the door). -

It isn't fixed in the exp yet. And it isn't just the LRS, it is on most guns, scoped or not.

While something similar does indeed occur in the game, the dragging and spinning parts makes it obvious that the OPs story is entirely fictional. Makes one wonder how many of the torture stories from this game floating around the net are as well. At least judging from video evidence this sort of thing happens very rarely, most often people who let themselves be taken prisoner just ends up being very unimaginatively executed.

Very relevant information. Anyone knows whether this is a new feature added in the exp or if it has been in the game for a while without anyone noticing? -
All guns shakes really bad at the moment. It is a bug. So I understand it can be really difficult for many players to appreciate the extreme accuracy of the AKM as it was experienced in the previous exp build, and which it will hopefully regain when they fix this shaking bug (which really makes all gunplay fubar atm).
