That would be great indeed. Any game with crafting would need molotov cocktails and similar incendiary devices.

And since we have already established flamethrowers are crap against zombies, and most likely would be crap against players as well, why would anyone spend precious time and resources doing this during a zombie apocalypse?

I also always seem to find sodas everywhere in places that has already been looted. I don't understand why players don't just drink those sodas. Perhaps they subscribe to the erronous myth that sodas were nerfed and doesn't provide any energy and hydration. My exp character proved that myth wrong, because he has reached heatlhy in about an hour, mainly based on leftover sodas in an otherwise completely looted Berezino. -
Except of course for the problems already mentioned in this thread, mainly the fact that you wouldn't be able to find a working flamethrower anywhere.

Managed to get myself health (fully energized and hydrated) yesterday in Berezino, which on a full 40 experimental player server had already been throughoutly looted. It isn't that difficult. Ok, I did steal a box of cereal from a group of Germans in the process, but cereal only goes so far. -
Gas station explosions can be heard very far away, and they actually continue to explode at regular intervals when they have first been blown up.

That is actually the highway to NWAF. And closing doors is a sound strategy followed by most experienced players.

I think you may find that those places were looted after all, they just only took the mp5, akms and akm parts. ;)

I gather they actually spawn quite frequently (they even spawn in police cars), but what happens whenever they introduce a new gun is everybody is off searching for it, so the demand is quite high even with its increased loot spawn rate. The hype will eventually settle down and the gun will be included in the normal average gun spawn cycle. I haven't found one yet either, but I must admit it is not high on my wishlist, so I have settled with the fact that I will find it whenever I randomly stumble upon it.

An overall smooth performance indeed. There was some lag when loading up on a new server after the other restarted, but no chains and weapon drawn instantly and all that, even while running around Berezino and Svetlo with lots of other players around. -

I heard the same tapping thing. Like a telegraph or something. I think it is some new ambient sounds, because I heard them twice with a couple of minutes pause and it was exactly the same tapping rhythm. -
The lore is not written in stone though. Lots of things have changed from the mod to SA. This could change as well. Though I doubt it.

Defibrillators are for people who still have a pulse but are unconscious. You can't revive dead people with it. I think the game wanted you to stay on top of the stairs and apply it there, it would then have given you the message that it can't be used on dead people. I have also heard the theory of the red chain appearing when other players are near, but I am not convinced by it. At least I have encountered other players countless times where no red chain ever appeared. On the other hand if you travel the same route numerous times you will notice that the red chain pops up much the same places, which I interpret to mean when the character cross from one partition of the map to another, and that this is much the most frequent way that the red chain appears on screen.

Yeah, most likely tried to combat log. The logout cycle start with crouching and then go to sitting (and then prone etc etc).
