When it happened to me I was standing perfectly still looking at my inventory. -
I have been reading that claim alot here, but I am not quite convinced that is the case, because 1) it is only a small selection of sounds that appears as random ambient sounds, not all sounds which are in the game (no gunshots for example) 2) the same sound will often be repeated several times for a longer duration of time not consistent with any player behaviour. However regardless of how they are caused there is no doubt that they are glitched sounds that needs to go.

I disagree. These sort of sounds could be caused by the wind or fleeing animals, or just from a rotten branch falling off a tree. I think they add to immersion. It would of course be nice if they were actually connected to real things, like an open fence gate moving because of the wind and all that sort of thing, but it wouldn't be that unrealistic if they weren't.

You sure you didn't misread hackmags for duped items? I can't really see how they would be able to identify duped items, since once they are duped they would not be different from regular loot spawned items in any way.

It could have been a sniper messing with you, since there is the problem of gunshots not making any sounds if fired from far enough of a distance and in the right direction. However I have read about this random broken leg problem occurring many times for other players, but as far as I was aware it only occurred when you were inside buildings, and never heard it occur to two players like that. I hadn't experienced it myself until yesterday. I was in the bunk room of the jail building in the Cherno highrises, when suddenly I got the leg damage message 4 times in quick succession and I found myself on the floor with broken legs. For reasons that it will take too long to explain, I wasn't wearing any pants at the time, but my pristine redpunk boots was ruined. Luckily I did have morphine so it wasn't that big a problem, but it is sad confirmation for me that this weird bug exists. -
I did as well. Until navmesh and proper ai is implemented, it did seem like a decent workaround in order to make the game the zombie survival game it ought to be.

They do seem to mess about with the zombie respawning quite a lot during the different builds. In the previous build they had it toned down very much, but in this present build it seems it is somewhat closer to that build where firing a gun in a town basically means you ended up with an eternal zombie respawn cycle. I guess to balance out that they are again easier to kill.

It is not damaged arms. Damaged, sprained, arms (not fractured) gives the "My arm is in pain" message frequently, but it doesn't actually do anything. You can use morhphine or splints to remove it, but all it does is remove the pain message. This sway is inherent in the recent build, it is a bug, and it occurs to players with no damage at all.

Considering the number of other threads about this happening with other guns, I would say bug. Although I start to sense a pattern about the various issues with the recent stable: fewer m4s, lots of m4 ammo not working, almost no akms or mags, uncontrollable sway when using scopes on any gun, mosin damage nerfed (apparently). All in all this recent stable should have made guns so rare and gunplay so unplayable that all the people crying for friendly pve servers seems to have gotten a build that indirectly supports their view. They should probably enjoy it while it lasts.

Stuck under a building when logging for the first time in a log time after having had that problem for a long time? It seems the "stuck under a building" problem is probably carried over from your last session. And yes, the lack of a suicide option is a bit of a pain. But depending on which building you are stuck in, there are actually several guides around how to get out of certain locked rooms and so forth, you can try and search the forums for that. However if all else fail you may have to die of thirst, before you can start over and try the game anew, most likely without the "stuck under a building problem".

No, ammo and attachments does not spawn anywhere else but at helicrashes either, at least that is how it was in exp. However, in the exp you could still find stacks of 5.56 ammo at military places, but I think they may have removed those as well. At least during my roamings in current stable, as I haven't seen any.

It is indeed a bit strange that you can become sick from it. I guess from lack of diversity in sickness right now, any sickness triggers the same symptoms. However it seems to be some kind of benign version of the sickness, because if you just stay energised, hydrated and healthy it seems to wear off again after about an hour. Vomiting is not needed. At least that is how I have experienced it once.

Oh yes, animals, resource gathering (apples, wood, rock, worms, fish etc etc), crafting, new town which is currently the largest on the map, cancel current action, and loads of other things. But please don't let it get in the way of your rant.

Could easily have been a server issue. At least that is not something I have experienced yet in 0.45 after the rubberbanding fix.

iirc the crossbow was in the previous build as well. Binos as well, where they were very frequent in loot spawn, but they seem to have been made very rare indeed now, although I heard they fixed the bugs binos had in the previous build, you can now move and crouch with them. I am not sure, but I think placing rocks in the fireplace reduces meat cooking time. I haven't really experimented a lot with hunting and fireplaces yet, I have been saving it for when I begin tiring of the other new items in this build. Edit: And oh yeah you can resharpen knifes and axes with rocks, keeps them from getting ruined from too much treechopping. -

How effective are the notes/paper?

I do often carry a note on my character for my would be killer to read. I haven't found any notes written by others, either on bodies or lying around, although I always check when I find a paper if something is written on it. I have written a couple of random messages a dropped at places I expected people to appear, but all these 2hour restart servers really makes leaving notes in the wild a waste of time atm. -
Found AKM at barracks at Balota today. 2 30 round mags at tent camp there. Lots of ammo for it everywhere as well. Even managed to find a damaged buttstock to switch the badly damaged one it came with. Also found the PSO scope same place, as well as the rail handguard, but that last one looks ugly as hell, so I doubt I will use it. Still no sight of the 75 round mag. For a second I thought I had found one here, but curse you can of sardines:

I don't really understand your logic. Loot balancing will not be done properly until at least the beta, and we have been fully informed on the fact that they are working on zombies. Should they tell a third, unrelated, team of the devs (graphic designers) to stop working until those other teams have finished? And how will they ever get to beta if the graphic designers have been told to stop working on new items during the alpha phase?
