Can we PLEASE get some form of inertia in this game? The zigzagging and sprinting from 0-100, looks so completely unfinished and arcade. And why a fully loaded guy can sprint equally fast as a bambi? Just for shorter time? This all looks like a placeholder for me. Is the engine capable to get inertia back? I think arma2-3 solved this oretty good. It looks authentic and people don’t look like squirrels on speed there, which change there directions in 180 degrees on fullspeed constantly.

Tweaked: Bullet damage is reduced with longer bullet travel time Seriously? While i understand this should happen, you guys do know, that most if not all weapons are too weak already? Lowering it even more - So now if you snipe someone at 300m, he will just feel like a mosquite sting? The bullet values are a big problem since almost a year. Please go back to smth similar of 0.62, there it felt like weapons actually did something. Also the uncoinsous state should be tweaked. Like it was in the older versions, not always you should wake up after beeing unconisous. Sometimes you just bleed out without help of other players.

Please, dont scrap advanced and hardcore medical things. It was one pretty important thing of dayz. Your game should not become just another Arcade and easy accesible 1 out of 20 games. Hardcore is what made this game big and stand out of all the other things. Also.. Please bring back the Pen and Paper?... And fishing? use the same animation the barbacueing meat on a stick?

Please, tweak the Base Damage values. I finally want to build bases on vanilla servers. Just increase the stability values by 50 or 100, increase the tool damage a few times. Thats enough workaround fix, to at least be able to use this function until you have a better solution. P.S, please also fix bullet damage values, its so frustrating to hit unarmored dudes 5-10 times with 9mm and they still dont go down. Or 2x timews with mosin center mass and they run on.. Comon.

oh yes pls. And pls fix that my mates often cannot see that i actually have a gun in the hand, or not. And that guns which are in my hands are shown somewhere hovering on the back of my dude for ther guys. Did bugged MP5 mags get fixed?

You have to somehow delete the desired keybinding of both columns and then rebind the RIGHT column. after saving it will switch to the left one and its working fine. See, this is the kind if sh*t we have to deal with because they dont fix the bugs on EXP first.

Dont worry, i am not offended. But if you check my posting history you will see that i mostly give accurate and honest feedback. And sure they can win, they just should aim for a a patch around every 1-1,5months, put it to EXP and fix at least the new Bugs on EXP before they push it to stable. Thats what EXP is here for. Its normally not possible to iron out nor even find all/most bugs of such a big changelist within 3-4 workdays. What they did is just plain stupid, sorry, there is nothing to describe it any more diplomatic. This is a big! NO GO in Softwaredevelopment working with DEV/TEST/Productive Enviroments. I understand it doesnt matter here too much, its just a game. (it matters in BIS compay reputation though) But in productive industry - ERP business, you do this 3-4 times and you can search a new job as the company might lose hundrets of thousends Euros/Dollars. And BIS DayZ Devs? They did it already 20-30 times and DO NOT LEARN from it. It feels like after all this years its still a chaotic crowd where one hand is not knowing what the other hand is doing. Just starting a little buglist: - Server crashes (official, non modded) a lot.. - Keybinding setup bugged. you often have to use the second column to change the first value and after saving it will jump in the first one. - The strange hairbug (Marge Simpson Bug) made it to stable - cars still happily flying around, even on official servers 60/60 - gasmask blocking big pars of view on FPP when using acog for example

DEVs you shouldn’t rush stable patches so short after EXP launch.. How often you do this mistake? Its one thing to do it countless times during early access, a whole different thing at a fully released game. Already found a whole bunch of NEW bugs 😞 Did you even try to configure some keybindings? (Yes i cleared game cache) gonna make some tickets when i find time.

About the new inventorry, Thanks @lex__1 you showed it perfectly in your video. First you have to do some clicks to sort the container closer to the container you want to switch stuff around. This will already set you off focus. Second you still had to scroll around to properly see the just changed container. While In the old userinterface no sorting, no scrolling was needed for the same action. You just drag and dropped the item because you saw almost (it was not perfect!) all of your equipment in one screen. So for an action you now need around 8 seconds (if trained) + more clicks + scrolling, you needed maybe 3 seconds before, no extra clicks and no scrolling. This is a big step backwards about software ergonomics. Not to forget that you now have to always check the status of your jacket, backpack, .. on the very top (yeah, extra scrolling!) , instead of just hovering over the corresponding area in your inventory and see if its damaged, or ruined. (Sorry for doublepost, i could not add more lines to my other one as i tried to edit it)

Well, you say it. Melee damage is the next big issue. I should not run around after beeing hit 5 times by a hatchet in my chest or face. It just feels wrong. Same with several knifestabs in my head. This is all still not tweaked, not feeling correct. For now a can of baked beans is more effective in a melee fight than a hatchet a knife or even a matchete. No i am not ignoring that only! half of the health is gone and the player is bleeding, i painfully realise that. (its just too less damage) I think a big problem with dayZ for now is that you are maybe ignoring (forgetting?) or at least move too far away, from where dayZ is coming from. Its coming from a Milsim game, ArmA. As far as i know, OFP and ArmA (1,2,3) didnt care too much if it was a game or not, it tried to be as close to reality as possible about bullet velocity, damage values, ballistics in general.And dayZ got popular because it was unforgiving, hard, brutal and had the most real feeling gunplay compared to other games. This is an island position of the BIS games and you are just (partitially) ditching it in DayZ. You are saying yourself "but its a game". While i agree that you must balance a lot of things in a game, dayZ became popular because it was NOT balanced. Because it was unfair and harsh. Because you went down if you got hit with a high calibre rifle. In the meaning that a .308 round in your unarmored chest must knock you down at the very least. Yes, 1 shot. Not just let you limp away with half health left and slightly bleeding where you can wait 5 minutes until you bandage.This example is standing for a lot of too weak bullet effects. And again, i am not talking that every bullet should kill you and i am not talking about body armor. Very often this stuff should knock you down and/or unconsious at least.A lot of bullet wounds can be survivable but dont let you fight back anymore. The values in 0.62 felt sooo much better than now. Could you not just take most of them and reuse them for the current ballistics?

@ImpulZ sorry, so you think it is anywhere near realistic that you hit someone center mass with a .308 round and he will walk it off? If you think weapon damage is not imbalanced and unrealistic big time, i suggest you to play the game a bit more. Same with new inventory. Please go ahead and sort some items from a jacket to a big backpack and post a video of how intuitive it is. Even when you sort the containers manually correct first, its a big scrollfest. About basebuilding, when you think the team will start fixing the values? 5months after 1.0 almost no one uses basebuilding in vanilla. With pellets i mean SLUGs btw.

@ImpulZ Ok, i updated and summarized my feedback to 1.02 stable. GENERAL: doors seem to be desynced often, especially in little red restaurants, you often get delayed for just half a second when walking trough any open doors. Accessing Items on the ground and from barrels/seachests near each other is very broken since newest update (was never a problem before) Items can get bugged in trees again, so you cannot reach it (was fixed in 1.01) If you are accessing barrels, seachests.. near Fences, you often cannot access the containers. Would be great if we get a special section for building stuff, it gets messy soo fast. Cars are still fundamentally broken, if they are not flying (official server, 60players), the still feel very bad to drive. Server FPS should not effect them as much as it does right now. (ArmA3, ArmA2 DayZ Mod anyone?) Bushes and branches from trees still block Bullets VERY effectivly. if someone is hit several times, he can still jump away until out of stamina. Maybe reduce the stamina to almost 0 after beeing hit? Inertness and weight needs to be increased. The zigzag radius must be increased. Zigzagging and Sudden 0-100 sprints should be decreased. When you drop Items they should drop 50cm in front of you, instead directly on your feet (or stomach when prone) so friends can access stuff without need of you stepping back basebuilding in vanilla is still useless as there are so many ways to break in in 30sec to a minute (saw lock, break fence, jump over, bruteforce code,...) INVENTORY USER INTERFACE: the resolution is straight out of 2005 a lot of bullets look exactly the same now, just with different coloured tips. (9mm VS 45.ACP for example) as the new UI is so big, it looks very messy, not clean anymore, no clean borders anymore (check before and after: https://imgur.com/a/ELBmhx0) lot of icons are bigger than the cells (Scorpion for example) you are forced to scroll up and down a lot if you want to sort your inventory. (the sorting containers up/down is NO solution for this, mostly a workaround) -> please just bring back the old inventory from 0.63, -> inventory was good, looting trough walls was not possible and still you could access all visible items. BULLET DAMAGE: Bullet damage or hit dedection is very much broken. Bullets in general are too weak. They should drop people way faster (not necessarily kill!). I am NOT talking about armored targets (plate carriers,..) example1: try hitting someone with a FNX 45 in the throat/neck. - Right now he will happily shoot and kill you afterwards, then bandage and is good to go. Neck should be a vital organ, or at least a unconsious ness and rapid bloodloss thing example2: try hitting some unarmored target with a makarov 3-5 times center mass. He will not care too much. example3: try hitting some unarmored target with an M4 in center mass. he will happily run on after 2-3 hits, if you dont hit vitals. He should be at least on the ground ofc. example4: while Buckshots are the best workinga ammo for now, Pellets are like shooting with BBs, i am not even sure if they hurt anyone? example5: Hit a guy with the winchester, center mass, 300m, he had an assault vest. Yep, he most likely will run on. you could add a little randomness about some stuff, about how long someone is unconsious, about bleeding (which should be much stronger when hit with higher calibre) in general mostly all guns feel to weak (just Buckshot shotgun is fine), maybe consult the ArmA Military guys about correct values.

I actually think they accidentally didn’t push the lates exp to stable, but one version before, or have some other serious problems with managing the versions. lot of stuff which was fixed, is broken again. This happens almost after every update. like you cant refuel the olga. you cant use binocs you sometimes cant open tuna ... all was fixed in exp, or? you cannot access equipment dropped to close in a bush/ tree (was fixed in 1.01) getting shortly stuck (delayed) at a lot of open doors (no issue in 1.01) @repzaj1234 thx 🙂 but i am actually getting tired, investing hours of bug reporting and only seeing a few % of it fixed and then, stuff which was already fixed, broken again.. And even breaking stuff noone had a problem with (inventory UI suddenly looks like from 2005 and forces you to constantly scroll)...most likely just to fit the xbox version. NO progresd on base values since 5! Months. So its still useless to build bases in vanilla... Cars are a big mess since almost a year.. (just talking bout new engine). i mean if cars are so depending on server fps, there is a huge essential error somewhere deep in the new engine. In Arma3 you never had this problem and as the game is moddable server fps will always, one way or another go lower. i honestly doubt they even read the feedback, or if one guy maybe reads it, i don’t think it gets communicated to devs 😞

Feedback to 1.02 Stable: canned tuna still sometimes bugged, you often cannot open it Binoculars are bugged, you cannot use them. Equipment you place near trees get bugged again, you cannot really access them. This was fixed with 1.01, now its back. seems like some doors, especialy in the small red restaurants are desynced / bugged. Often if you walk trough some doors, you gets stuck/ delayed for half a second before you can move on. could you please let us drop our gear 50cm in front of us again, like in 0.62? and not directly at our feed, or even worse below our stomach when you drop smth prone? other ppl often cannot access it and you have to do a step back first. in a melee fight against zombies for example you all the time have to turn around like crazy because you always step forward even you dont want to. The new inventory UI forces you to scroll constantly when you have a vest or backpack. If you want to sort some stuff from for example your jacket to the bottom of your backpack, you have to scroll 100x. Also the items are way to big, it doesnt look clean anymore, no clear borders around the equipment icons. 9mm and 45.ACP eg look exactly the same (just some color difference). In general the inventory looks now like from a 2005 RPG game. (even the same bad resolution). Can you please go back to a more clean and better optimized inventory where we are not forced to scroll so much? Best would be not at all? more to come. i have the feeling that hit registration got worse again. like i just saw some dude shooting anotherone with almost a full mag of mp5 and he survived. Olga cannot be refueled afain..

Holy mofo, never someone intepreted my suggestions so wrong as you. I am literally in all of my points asking for more realism and you accuse me of wanting to have an easy mode? xD Have you ever seen someone can do a almost 180 degree turn while sprinting without losing any speed?? Have you ever seen someone getting shot up so he can’t run anymore, Bunnyhop! away because its faster??? Would you really build a base with a wooden fence in reallife which is small enough that 2 people can easily climb it?? (Even most woodlogs are naturally higher?) On top of that, almost noone is building bases right now, because a bambi can break in within 1 minute, two bambis can jump in within 10seconds and if someone wants to not just loot, but overtake your base and all the loot you built up and collected for several days, they need 10-20min to bruteforce your codelock. Why the fuck you think almost all codelocks in reallife have 4 digits?? True, so people cannot steal your bike within 10minutes. Right now, in all possible ways in vanilla its better to hide your loot in some seachests or barrels, instead of investing hours to build a base and therefor be spotted easier and tell everyone where your loot is. They anyway will get in within a minute. Why you think i suggest the nightlight to be lowered? Because i want an easy mode?? (They should remove it, but i doubt they will as too many ppl will cry that night is too dark). And btw. maybe think about all my suggestions the other way? maybe i found it too easy to outrun/ zigzag away from 2 guys armed with automatic rifles? maybe i managed to junp away from a guy who hit me 4 times? maybe i found a full base and just bruteforced their codelock too easy? Damn.

So you say, as now its balanced, it was not balanced in for example 0.62? What didnt you like about bullet damage in 0.62? Didnt it feel good, that if you hit a sniper shot with a mosin on 400m that the dude actually, doesnt just run away, but fell down unconsious or dead? Didnt it feal reasonable, that if you shoot some guy without armor in the chest 2-3 times with a 9mm that he went down or died? What they did for now is to make the game more arcadish. Lot of people loving the ArmA and DayZ seris for a pretty realistic feel about weapon handling, shooting and so on. Where they since 0.63 moved away quite far from. With 1.01 they came a bit closer to something reasonable again, but still far away from the old days(z)

I dont know if you are coming from fortnite or counterstrike or smth, but the bullet damage is still far away from anything realistic or at least "believable". OFP, ArmA, ArmA2, ArmA3, DayzMod and DayZ SA up to 0.62 made it right. The weapon damage got terribly weakend since 0.63. I am not sure though if its the too low bullet damage value or maybe the too high t-shirt (cothing) defense value. But we dont need to discuss that there is still a considerable big problem about that. Thats just a fact. Sorry.
