It's kind of hard,but i think you should be able to carry 2 strapped rifles and a bag.Although realisticly,having that much load will encumber the survivor greatly. Are there any vines in Cherno? I thought it was a forest area,not a jungle zone. But maybe we could be able to make straps out of rags.What do you think?

In all my seriousnes,it's not a bad idea. I agree with the minigame feature,but not for cars or locks. My idea is to make a minigame out of fishing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SqfD2Q7QLA It's not a bad idea,but currently zombies are Bad (with a capital B ).Also it's not very hard to loot a melee weapon at this stage of the game,they are practically everywhere.

Like Geko said,all the survivors currently in the Chernarus are are immune to the diesease,there have been multiple topics about your suggestion before.I advise you to make use of the search function on the top right above,in order to find if your ideas have been suggested before.All that aside,welcome to the Forums.

I know right! We could throw em to the infected as a distaction. While the zombies are occupied eating your children,you can loot a location safely.

From what i have read the rifle was proven inefective against armored targets which is basically what it was designed for. It has low mobility,and huge muzzle blasts which will give out your position easily.They are effective against cars,and light armored vechicles. It's a single shot,so that means if you miss,you would have to reload another bullet again manually which is a pain in the ass.

Now,before everyone in the forums starts to clobber me,hear me out on this one. My suggestion is fairly simple,insipired from a game named Aion. On that game,you had a studio (like your own house)when you logged out out of your studio you had a buff called "Energy of Repose" this buff was equivellant to 'well rested' giving you extra exp for everything you did in the game.What i'm suggesting is something relevant,when you log out from your bed/sleeping bag etc,and you log in after some hours (depending on your stamina levels) You could have: -If you have low blood,blood regenaration during sleep/logout time would improve. -If you log out from the bed with sick status,when you log in sleep mode would improve your survivor's condition. -You can get a "rested" status equivalent to the "healthy" status,only rather than having improve blood regen, your survivor could run faster than his averange top running speed until your stamina falls again and lose the "rested"status. Keep in mind,i'm not suggestiong to make sleeping a nessecity,but it would be a nice to have feature,and with my ideas,i think players would be driven to use the "sleeping" logout than the regular one.

Isn't it a little early to talk about diferent item spawning locations? I mean it's good and all,but make all the houses spawn loot is kind of a priority.Right? And to be honest,item placing is the least of my concern,adding a little variety (items stashed under the bed) are going to be implemented in the future patches i presume. Skip to 22:00 this is proof of their desire of diferent loot spawn locations.

Hahahah i wish i could answer that right now......i'm not against the whole npc idea,but neither i'm in favor of it. Whatever is fine with me,the regenaration will not stop,it will just be slower.I personally can't say if the people are in favor of a persistant Npc, sleeping in the server.There will be hackers in the future,that teleport,insta kill whoever they please.Even if your survivor is sleeping in the game's safest area,and a hackers just teleports in your room and kills you when you sleep(and 100 other people sleeping after you) i think it would be a reason to create mass confusion to the average player. Yes that would propably be for the best if the sleep is a logout function,and not something persistant,we want player to actually be in the game.Now if the sleeping system is made like *closes eyes slowly* but still beign ingame,then higher regenaration values.But that's up to the community to decide. Edit:Or you have increased regenaration but the danger of someone killing you in your sleep.

I don't know....personally it's too early to tell,yet i like making things harder. My suggestion would be to make things so desperate for the survivors (eg:"i'm wounded,hungry,i'm in the forest at night,i have a horde of infected chasing me and to top it off it's raining") in order to make the game more challenging and mostly abandon the lone wolf mentality of the averange Dayz player,and give him more reasons for him to cooperate with other people. -
Hmm...i see your point,so i propose this. If you go to bed with the "healthy" "stuffed" "hydrated" status,and you have a good temperature (near fire or other heat source) and inside a house,it will affect the pace in which your charachter regenerates blood.Making all theese preparations is challenging,so i think it's fair.Right?

You can either use the water-purification tablets or possibly boil the water from what i know. My suggestion,is to make almost every water source contaminated,so it is actually hard to find drinkable water. The real "safe" option would be to implement something like "Rain water collection" as i have posted in a post topic. When the temperature system is implemented,people will stay 500 meters away from water,you'll see :) I like the swamp ambience idea though.

When the final version of the game is out,leading the eventuall realise of the game,the community is gonna mod the shit out of this game. Forgive my poor vocabulary,but i couldn't state my point of view with a more gentle manner.When that time comes,we are bound to see many great things coming from this game.

That was an excellent idea,maybe make sleep logout mandatory,and when the temperature is imlemented and you log out in the middle of the forest with freezing temperature,there is a high chance you will find your survivor sick.So before you going to sleep you should take in account 1:Beign indors when you sleep. 2:Have a burning fire/heat source close to you to keep you warm. That would increase the realism factor to a new level.

Honestly,i don't mind with the dynamic sleeping survivor staying on the server even if you log out idea,but i think because alot of sleeping players are gonna get "assaulted from behind" there is bound to be a lot of whining.I don't either mind sleep logging from a regular ingame house-bed. But that's up to you,as the community.Would it bother you if that were the case? To be able to die while sleeping? I know i would not mind,but if you go to sleep in a city like Electro....you are gonna have a bad time :) Edit:What really matters in this topic is the "rested" bonuses.

Hey,i shall answer all of your questions,firstly and foremost,loot placing is not done yet.More stuff keep coming out every patch. Secondly,the current zombies are just place-holders.There is talk about some serious zombie numbers making it into the game. Although in this stage there are bound to be critical lag issues if they increase the infected count.Also work to the zombie damage and weapon damage hasn't finished.All theese will be fixed in the next patches.You can let your emotions out all you want Flint,but bottomline is,you have to be patient like the rest of us.The dev team alreay knows theese issues exist.No need to bring them up for the 1000th time.It will be done when it's done.

But you can't sleep-log out wherever you want,that's the point.I'm not talking about the beds,that the civilian houses offer. I'm talking about sleeping bags/player crafetd beds that give this bonuses.Like if for example (later when crafting-base building is implemented) if i have crafted a king-sized bed,and log out my charachter from there,the stamina- "rested" effect would take less time to replenish than logging out from a sleeping bag. If your charchter logs out from the sleeping bag in your inventory then i don't think it would be a freebie,it's just that item's effect.

No,i mean like a "sleeping" logout dude.Your survivor will not be a dynamic object in the server "left sleeping".When you sleep logout,there is no sign of your survivor till you log back in.That would not be very cool because unlike Rust people strive alot for gear :) .
