It has been addressed multiple times in the past.Ineed it's a good idea. But the team is currently busy implementing more content of great importance to the overall gameplay core. This is part of the art-animation details which i bet they will consider to add sometime in the future patches.

Where is it written that they are currently tweaking it? All Dean made clear was the issue,he didn't say anything about fixing it or not. You know what,i honestly think he has issues about having to share his game with BI. Reality is he wanted to be his his own boss on his own studio on his own project,having to file a 50 page report to your boss for just a small minor tweak in the game,or if you want to make a change from what is planned is nerve-racking.Secondly,the engine is very unstuble and hard to work with,It comes with a lot of problems and it was a mistake for his to use it for the SA version and i bet it will limit the game's horizons (controls will be forever clunky even if tweaked),also the guy is wants to go home in 10 months time to see his kid and wife dudes,we have to respect that.The future will be bright,as long as he has passion in what he does,he is very social with the comunity and always delivers new content (patches).So personally i have 0 complaints about him,for now.

I'm going to bed now,by the time i wake up tommorow,i will propably see 54+ pages filled with that stuff.For those that will stick around...i wish you courage and strenght :P

Lol COD-Z,but anyways come on don't exaggerate.Even if he indeed leaves sooner than planned the team is highly trained in the field of DayZ.It will not be the end of the world.The only thing i would hate to see him do,is stick around without having any passion for his own project.But i highly doubt that's the case from what i read earlier.

Cut him some slack dude,let's be reasonable. He has always delivered updates for the game till now,even though his content is currently unstable. It's not hard to think about ideas,it's hard to think about ideas that work and succeed. The guy's homesick,and i would be too if i were him.I have to agree about the engine though. That was a big mistake of his behalf.For the moment beign you and i have no right to complain,game's still in Alpha, but as you can see it's developing with fast paces.Secondly i would like to think that Bohemia is partialy to blame also,because it sets limits to the team's creativity slowing them down,making him to "fight" over his game almost every day. He's definetely trying dude,at least for now...

Truth is i don't get scared so easily but,heh i was kind of expecting the things i was about to see...but one caught my attention,i saw about a guy doing experiments(torture) on humans and posting the data result on his page.Now,i do not now if it was fake or not,but it was highly disturbing.The site was called warehouse something... i don't quite remember.But it semm i'm getting waaaay of track.This is a DayZ forum after all.

There is a reason Dean said that the engine has limitations. If only Bohemia listened to his pleas and implemented a brand new smooth engine for the game's needs all of that would be avoided.

Well,it's not that he should be afraid of the psychos.He climbed the Everest,i don't thing he is defenslees :P His psycology is what he should propably take care of,it's not easy having 300k people online cursing you in your face and try to assure them that everything's in order.

Even if it sounds harsh on my behalf....i agree with this. Although randal you have to understand,it's not easy beign in his shoes. You have to respect the fact though,that when shit hit the fan,he was on reddit to answer people,even though they cursed him. Not many people would do that,and it takes alot of guts trying to comunicate with the people that rather see you burn in stake... He is close with the community more than any other Dev,people got angry,because he sounded like he lost his passion. People got angry because they care about the game and the creator together. But in the end,he does have to see his family and we ought to respect that.All the stress that must be building inside him would drive almost anyone crazy.No need to make matters worse.

Do you think that the clunky controls are an issue introduced along with the game's engine? I personally always thought that,they would not pay any attention on tweaking it. But if they do work on it,do you think that there is a chance of improvment on the controls,or is it something that you can't do much about?

Why do you always have to be so mean!!!! I mean geez picture dosen't suit much of your comments..and i thought you were cute :P Concerning this,most of the times,you just have to talk and reasure that you indeed are friendly.Most of the people have made shooting in the back a common practice,so it's really hard to trust almost anyone.Depending factors are the people themsleves,personally speaking,i think sometimes you can tell from the tone of someone's voice if he's friendly or not.Also keep trying and don't give up.

Maybe it's the engine that is bad,and can't fully support Dean's vision. I agree with this in some extend,it's clunky and bery bad to develop a game with DayZ's standarts. As retarded as i may sound,I would personally support if Dean made a new start,using the engine he wants and implement everything from scratch.
