Yeah i can releate to this,but because it's not reallity,and it's a game nobody really cares. And everyone dosen't have a solid reall reason to help one another,maybe that's the zombie threat lack to blame partially.It's also the lack of indifecation that makes matters even worse. Now this is the part you will say "nobody will know your real name unless asked" and yes i totally agree. But you would recognise facial features,and advanced charachter customization is something the game lacks. All avatars are copy-pasted. -

It's not about making this game easy. He's right,it's because you have absolutely no penalty for beign a dick ingame(which is not realistcly supported). DayZ aims to be a realistic game,we should aim to provide more ways for people to cooperate. If the real world was inspired by DayZ we would be in very deep sh*t right now. Maybe not skins,but some kind of Reputation system must be in order. -
Well,i mean you are running away from zombies that try to spill your guts on the pavement and swallow them like spagheti. I don't think bees are much scarier than this.And yes,i'm no expert but if i was starving to death and found a beehive i would even consider eating the beehive along with the bees.Even if it's danger involved,it's a good addition to have ingame. Wolfs nd predators are gonna be added soon.Surely they will try to kill you,but they are gonna be awesome to hunt.

We really need something to encourage people to be nice to one anothether,this needs to be top priority,game feels like a large Deathmatch(Not even TDM). NPCs and missions is something against the game's one and only rule : I would not advise,making this game WOW.Player freedom and lack of path (kill this,exp,level up,be stronger etc) are the things that made this game big.It's the only game i'm able to say " i'll do what i want " and get away with it. -

Having some sort of Strenght and Stamina system, is actually a good idea. I disagree about the way you suggest to base them on the survivor lifelenght. I could just leave my survivor in an empty server for some time, and exploit that system.The "strenght" should be based on: "overall weight carrying x time + zombie meele damage" and the stamina on: "Distance run on foot/bike or *rowboat" -
Wait,are they NOT going to implement zombie spawn inside buildings too? I really thought they were gonna place the zombie spawns in buildings too,and the reason that it isn't so,it's because they didn't put it in yet. Are you certain that we will only have zombies spawning outdoors?

It's a little more complicated than the map though. We are talking about freezing an ingame frame to a picture, and placing it on the top of the generic photo item. All maps ingame share the same data. There is no different map item ingame. But none of the pictures will be identical. Each has their individual and unique pixels. I would be highly amazed if they manage to pull this through. For it is something that i have never witnessed in an MMO-RPG game.

Heh,well i don't mean that "model" specificlly :) . But you have to admit that chopper bikes in general would be cool.Offroad would be propably people's first choice in an apocalypse scenario i agree,but it would be cool to have your own little "biker club" with your friends ;) -
Server hosts should be able to tweak the loot/vachicle spawn rate IMO. Having the option to choose wether you want your server to have limited or plenty gear would make everyone happy.

Age as a means of charachter customization with absolutely no restrictions whatsoever,is okay with me. If we are looking for a way to know how many Days our curent charachter is alive, perhaps a command should be in order (eg write on chat /timealive and see your charachter alive time) If we want oters to know more about us,we can have an "inspect" function and choose whether we want to share the information with others players (eg:I get the message "User Banana wants to inspect you" i click accept,Banana sees:Name:Damnyourdeadman Age:22 Days Alive:12)

Also,zippos and lighters in general,can be used as an alternative source of light.So it would be a good idea,to start off with a BIC lighter instead, and make the flashlight rarer.

Well...in case of an Apocalypse,food would go bad preety quickly (no power). If you use smoke,you can daze them,mess with it safely and extract the honey.It's not nuclear science....

While in reality,people are indeed fragile and have individuall psycology,if we implement the things you suggested,sure they would increase the realism/authenticity factor, but they would take a large toll from the overall gameplay value and experience. Overall it's just not possible to demonstrate something from a psycological point of view in game. But concerning fitness,stamina and strenght,i really want to see some kind of individuall skill system. (eg:stamina for running long distances can increase-strenght according to how much you carry can increase)

I love it as well,but..... Can it be done? I mean,taking an ingame shot with a polaroid,and having the photograph item showing that snapshot looks to me that is very challenging to develop a system that allows something like that.

"My clothes are damp with blood" I bet this message in the future will serve for other purpuses too,rathen than just an indication of bleeding.Having clean clothes,is very important. It could mean that gear/clothing may deteriorate faster if filthy,and also the charachter is more prone to sickness infection. I think we will see it in the future,but if we don't we should.
