That would be a very cool little detail.But,as of this moment, i wouldn't want to see the team dedicating their time on implementing something like that.Keep in mind that the serial should be unique in every weapon so it's not something you can copy/paste. I think it is more complicated from what it seems.Maybe in the future,totally. -

You all say "No" but you don't come up with an idea of how to fight the hacker threat. So i ask you,if hackers are ingame,how the hell are we suppposed to deal with them if we don't know their names? Crying about "Mah imerzion" every time and not coming up for a way to deal with a very large problem in the game,is not helping anyone.

Maybe they will take this one step further, and add body dismemberment.I heard some rumors that they will work on it.Along with ragdoll pshyisics,leg broken zombies would be an awesome thing to have ingame.

I just gave it as an example. I wasn't dissing BF,i was just stating that DayZ isn't the generic shooter game, that you can survive a whole mag of bullets, duel wield bazookas and have unlimited parachutes.

This was a system exploit. Good thing,it was patched and fixed by the devs. You can only carry an empty backpack within a backpack.

Nah,one gun wield is fine. It's more realistic that way and keeps the game clean and not a clone of BF and CS.

Should it be: 1:press drop button to drop item and stop animation 2:take weapon in hands Or 1:Take weapon in hand and automatically drop the animation and whatever item had in your hands?

When you are in the middle of eating, you can drop the can/fruit or whatever to the ground easily and run if you are getting attacked.

Sounds very good to me,in the past i proposed a hud indicator that simply lights up,but keeps a low profile to be plave on the bottom f the screen,but your idea is much more realistic let's keep it subtle not to take toll of our line of sight though. -
The tomahawk is the greatest example. It was used by native Americans (indians). Fun-fact is that it was also used as a throwable weapon

Yeah,but attack speed per strike would increase because we are turning it into a lighter one handed weapon.

You roleplay much.There's no way slavery would work. What i suggest is 1:cuff a person 2:steal his blood 3:Keep him alive 4:Repeat until out of blood/bloodbags/logout 5:Profit,trade blood bags for weapons Edit:Frankie was on a roleplay server,that's diferent. On roleplay servers you can be punished/banned if you deny to roleplay or logout prematurely.

I have not yet tried to collect berries. I thought it was obvious the quantity of berries to run out after collecting all of them. Maybe it's something they left for a future tweak? I highly doubt that the team would let this one slide.
