That was the Bubonic plague also known as Black Death.It killed 1/3 of the world's population. The patients were 10 times worse than the zombies in DayZ. I saw some photos...but they were so gruesome that i decided to not post them here.... The wiki link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubonic_plague

I'm thinking rat-transmited diseases. Also,they could form hordes and attack people like dishonored. If we give the Cherno infection a background like it was transmited from rats, drove them beserk and started attacking people it's realisticlly supported and i would love to have them in game.

They usually spawn in hospitals and military bases. I have one on my charachter,but it's been ages so i don't quite remember from where i got mine. Plain chocolate lasts 2-4 months in the pantry(shelves) 4-6 in the refrigerator and 6-8 in the freezer. So yeah,it's a viable product in the apocalypse.Other sweets,i'm not so sure. I saw the truck and the trailer,also i saw all theese different vechicle colours and i was on ecstacy,something like a kid on a candy-store. I didn't pay any attention.But....truth is i know more or less A3 vechicles,and some of them on the video were completely alien to me. -

Well they may be fake,but still they it's preety awesome to see helicopters come in so many diferent colours :) If so many colour varieties were in game everything would be unique :) -

This video has the UAZes the Urals and generally all the already known vechicles from the mod. But i was kind of suprised with the one that i found,because it shows some vechicles that don't exist,if i'm not mistaken. Maybe they are modded A3 vechicles...i don't know....but i saw a truck and a trailer among with other things! So yeah....mindblown :D -

You will have farming,base building and advanced crafting,you would be able to start whole cities from scratch with the help of your buddies,we are talking about a Repopulation-sim in it's purest form. Don't bring NPCs into this.The game is in very early stages,thus the reason of your boredom.If more things were in i gurantee that,you would be preoccupied.Dean talked about livestock.So there you have it! Rather than people you will have to take care of animals. -

He was a noob,i bet when you asked he didn't know what morphine was,also he wasn't lying about having unloaded weapons.He must have been one of those rare cases that found a dead guy and looted him of his weapons.He also didn't lie about beign friendly. But reality is that you didn't want to take any chances,so you shot the poor bastard. So....what was this video about again?

It's good Lok,but by just clicking the coordinates on the map is a bit unrealistic don't you think? What mortar of a post apocalyptic Soviet State would come with an artilery computer? All should be done manual.

Completely remove valuting and add jumping. Valuting is very clunky,robotic and unpractical. Let me briefly explain what i mean from a past personal expirience. Zombie----runs after me-------fence----press v-------see my charachter raise slowly his foot----geting hit by zombie------raising second foot------zombie still hitting/bleeding---------unconcious-----dead-----rage-----screen is thrown outside off my window-----2 story drop------buy new monitor-- ----repeat. -
The controls generally are a (bit) clunky atm, no tutorial will ever fix that.This is why Rocket said that they are doing controls from scratch if i'm not mistaken. So rejoice,we will definetely see brighter dayz ahead.

I like this whole system. Maybe force players the take off their harness backpacks drop their weapons and etc in order to wear them would make this even a more realistic idea based on your schematics. :)

Nah,everything in the DayZ universe is and will forever be player generated. That is why a closed fortified area-training facility,can't exist.Who is gonna run it? The npcs who don't exist? :) Just press escape,go to controls and check or assign the keys for the specific actions.
