It's more of a "landmark" player attidute reason not to touch the signs. You may call it an unspoken tradition that is kept among DayZ pleayers. :) But nevertheless,truth is that a translated version would be helpfull.

Concerning basebuilding wooden construction should be very hard to be achived by a single person. Cement constructions,should be made impossible for on person to finish.How to achive that,you say.... Like Wurm of course :D -

Yep,i suppose rags+ sticks could also work but rags+.sticks+alcochol should have increased duration and illumination. We should spawn with matches only,have the survivor collect sticks from trees(like berrypicking mechanic) along with rags torn from clothing and craft a torch.The flashlight should be made more of a luxury item(of course the clipping to be fixed and it's illumination greatly increased).

First thing that crossed my mind was.... But let's think of it from a realistic point of view. Zombies are roaming around while you are playing football? I can see it coming as a mod,but in the SA version i'm not so sure. -
Jump,drop and roll should be a thing. They are functions that would change alot in DayZ.

When i was 17,i used to play SAMP :D (San Andreas Multiplayer mod) In the map of San Andreas you could fit 500. A map that had 200 people could populate 1 city of San Andreas. Compared with the size of Chernarus i don't think we will ever have enough people to populate the whole map. -

Don't forget that DayZ is inteded to be an intense survival simulator. Zombie survival is far from easy and would require people to work together in order to survive. Yet that is not the case in SA,each survivor carries a thousand clips each that are rarely wasted on zombies. In case of a real zombie outbreak,you wouldn't let a horde of 20 zombies get close so that you can bash them to death with an axe. If we want to make the best of this game we need to make serious changes because this just isn't right. -

Preciesly,what i'm inteding,then we would eradicate all the lone wolves (which is the majority play-style,myself included) Well hey,if you wish to be a lone wolf you can still be able to (with extereme stealth and a good silencer). If the final product is something close to what is depictided in the video below,i would be content.... -

Then banditry play-style would be redifined,and split them in 2 sub-categores. -The first would just rob the incapacitated player for his/her possesions and let them be. -The second would prefer finishing off their incapacitated victims without taking their chances(victim recovers to have vengance). Well,it goes without saying that the priority is first to fix the zombie pathfinding. The final stand is reallisticly supported and all,but personally i wouldn't wish to be implemented. Because basicly we are encouraging the shooter and the victim to come closer and decrease the "survivor=loot chest" mentality. If last stand was in,then the shooters would just execute the victims in fear of drawing a sidearm. -

Well,certainly having players incapacitated,would open up the way for new possibilities.We can witness intreasting player made interactions such as the victim begging the shooter to spare his life. It would start a new page to survivor interactions. Concerning the zombies,i 'd rather give them a big percentage chance (80%) to be able to grab and knockdown the survivors when close. This would: 1-Make the zombies a real threat 2-Drive people to using firearms than meele. 3-Make the survivors work together to survive 4-Use of extremely cautious stealth around the zombies 5-Bring the terror factor back in DayZ. -
Endless hours of fun...... :D Concerning your post,i think it would be a nicer aproach if we had like 50 paged notebooks for journals. Also the ability to tear of pages.About the stashes,i would really love to see,scatered notes with coordinates to the supposed stashes in a random house and with the help of the gps track them down and find the loot. They need a system to make them spawn in a random house though,because experienced players will always know where to look.

There has been talk,that the devs are thinking about making every item in the server persistant. I suggest for the blood,to show on clothing rather than the bandages.That way people will know that something went down. Who in the right mind would even try to imagine,what an apocalypse would be without turtles? They are a must and should be a priority on the dev's to-do list.

:rolleyes: You need to be able to know who or what is coming in and out of Ur anus. So you need fortify Ur anus and have a gate as a checkpoint to control Ur anus traffic. -
People that you are friends with definetly need to be able to ID you,now most people don't agree because in rl you don't have anything to seperate good from evil.But my opinion would be some kind of symbolism showing the people that you are friends with (perhaps it could function according your steam friend list).

Imagine if we could see 200 man servers. Then your idea wouldn't be so hard to materialize. :) Building walls/fences and general fortifications around the city could deal with that problem. -
I have the strangest impression that if such a function was to be iplemented,hackers would surely take advantage out of it. So i have to disagree.
