private hives might be out by tmrw, my hopes are high

My audio in DayZ has completely depleted. For the first week it was great, but after my first week my game would lose audio everyday, and now I can hear absolutely nothing in game, but this is just for DayZ. I use my Beats to hear, and they work perfectly fine with every other device, and all of my games except DayZ. Has anyone else come across this problem or know how to fix it?

How I Navigate : http://dayzdb.com/map#3.051.125 1. Air/Military Bases are the best places to find bandits. Whether It's Balota, NW, or the Eastern Airstrip, you can always be sure of finding somebody at one of these places. Balota is the most well known, and is also closest to the spot on the coast where most people spawn at. The airstrips are where bandits can find the easiest prey because it's such an open area. 2. Cities, such as any on the coast, but after many, many, many hours of play, I have found that Kamyshovo is the highest traffic area. The reason for this is because a large amount of people spawn at 3 Valleys and then run West on the Main Road or Railroad. Where you will find fresh spawns, you will find bandits. Normally bandits hideout in the woods on the costal side of the mountain, so watch out because you never know if someone is on top, behind, or beside you. 3. Water Sources are also a highly watched area. If you have a Canteen or Water Bottle then you know how important it is to keep it full. Since people with loot are likely to run through here, snipers will watch these positions for an easy way to take loot, so watch out. This thread is meant for NEW PLAYERS, so if you are experienced and already know this information, then good, that means you're not brain dead. No hate please

So last night me and a big group of people had a checkpoint set up at 3 Valleys so that we could take shoes and give out Sodas/Pops. While we were doing this we were fired upon and myself along with another group member was killed. I know this is part of the game and I am not complaining. After retrieving my equipment, almost all of my friends had been wiped out.. there were 10 of us. We would locate a person, and after taking a shot at him, missing or making contact, they would " Ghost " ( Server Hop ) so that they could bandage up and move to a different building to cheat. After everyone in my squad had been killed, I managed to make my way back to Kam and then cut across the road into the mountains and back up to 3 Valleys. ( These people may have had hacks because they were picking people of 100's of Meters away with M4's ) I made my way back up to 3 Valleys and caught two people off gaurd. Turns out they were the Ghosters, and apparently there were 3 all together. I killed the 2 members I caught off gaurd, and then somehow got Sniped in the courtyard from the mountainside, and if you know the map then you know you can't be hit in that position because there is a house there. The point of this was to tell a story that I had fun experiencing, and also to raise awareness for Ghosting because it isn't really that fair, Thanks

So I'm guessing that you aren't smart enough to understand what KOS is then?

A bandit is a person that KOS and normally has a gun of some sort. Most run in groups so you'll be out numbered.

I totally agree, if that would happen and no ghosting involved, it would be worth losing a character

Well you can do whatever the hell you want, but it sounds as if you have no skill, and if a 1v1 were to take place, anyone could hand your ass to you

We stay around Kam because it's a high traveled area and seems to be more fun than random KOS in the AF's, but you should try it and see how much fun you have

I payed the $30 just like everyone else, and I can play the game however I want. Also since it's in Alpha theres not a whole lot to do. If i feel like teaming up with any amount of people from now until I quit playing games, I will do so because it's my choice.

When any type of weapon ( or fists ) makes contact w/ anything except a person or air, there is a sound that resembels a gunshot. I know this has been brought up before, but I felt like bringing it up again to get it fixed in an upcoming patch. ( Don't hate )

First off, let's get started by what you spawn with.. Instert that battery into that flashlight, and take your shirt and tear it into rags in case you get hit by a zombie or some bandit ( & somehow survive ) . Food & Drinks : The next thing you will need to do is look for food and weapons. Food is your first priority because wether at idle or moving your character will use up energy. Bananas are the most effective, but are the rarest type of food to find at the moment. Canned Tuna is in almost every unlooted building, and it's the easiest can to open, since it does have a pull-back tab. Any sharp weapon will open any type of can, but the deadlier the weapon, the more the food will be depleted. Soda/Pop cans can be found just about anywhere and are the easiest way to get liquids you need to survive. Around the map you can find Canteens and Water Bottles that can be reused after drinking if filled up at a water source. Weapons : In most cases you aren't going to be lucky enough to spawn by Belota Air Field or Electro, so here's what you'll need to do to find good weapons. Check a Factory, Supermarket, Warehouse, Hospital, or anything that is not your ordinary house. The best Melee weapon in the game at this point is the Firehouse Axe ( Red, Black, and Yellow Axe ), great for taking out zombies silently and taking out unsuspecting foes with their gaurd down. Build your way up in weapons, don't try to go straght for a gun unless you're on a low populated server. Weapons don't spawn with clips or ammo, so you'll have to scavenge for that. Weapon & Ammo Spawns : Any of the 3 Military & Air Bases will have at least one M4, FNX, and Magnum. For the map click on the link : http://dayzdb.com/map#2.106.037 All types of ammo will spawn in the Military and Air Bases. For the M4 and FNX you will have to find clips, but at the bases they are easy to find. The Magnum doesn't need a clip, just 6 bullets to be completely full. At the bases, there are Hangars, Guard Towers, and Tech Centers. All 3 of these facilities will have anyting you need to supply your frenzy for your killing sprees. Barracks are also located in Belota and the " Hidden " Base on the map. The Barracks can hold from Military Grade clothing to M4s and Ammo. The top room of the hospitals in any city that has a hospital will either spawn a Mosein or M4. You will not find M4 clips, but you can find Mosein ammo in 20 round packages that can be emptied. For your weapons you can have Scopes, Supressors, Bipods, Bayonets, Handguards, Buttstocks, and even different sized clips to fill your needs. Extra ammo you have can be stored in 300 round boxes round around the map so you can have more slots for other items needed. Surviving : You can't survive in DayZ for long and also have the full experience of the game if you run by yourself, get a group of friends or other players in the DayZ forums and team up to make a squad. You can hold people up for their items, kill randoms for fun, or just mess around. I had max loot, with surplus ammo for M4 and had everything I could possibly need to survive against whatever the game may throw at me, and yet again ( it never fails ) my character has been reset and spawned by the coast for no apparent reason. To anyone that has had this happen to them, or just anyone that will voice this to the people behind the creation of DayZ, can you please help me get this fixed, for I am tired of getting reset just when I am getting back into the game after being P.O.'d about my last random reset, thanks...
