    Discussions around CPU usage probably should be in the troubleshooting forum, but considering this appears to be new for.59, maybe Bones will let it slide. Apologies, but I can't get too bent about this on dual core machines. We are talking about technology that is pushing 10 years old at this point. No offence intended towards anyone, but this level of hardware is getting a bit long in the tooth. Listening to the demonstration videos from Hicks, in my opinion, CPU & GPU utilization will only increase as BI pushes the technological envelope of the engine and renderer. With densities increasing, foliage, item spawn increases, infected counts all going up, the math seems obvious. I do agree however that something significant changed from .58, possibly with how threading is currently implemented, offloading to the CPU. Hicks was very clear in his message and did say that balancing this was a priority. Reading between the lines however, it is apparent that this is going to be difficult with everything going on in-game due its scale.

    The infected apparently ate them, and my stuff... several are missing. Theory being, load up the 75 player servers, acquired data, review and adjust for next build.

    Takes up two slots, horizontal. The jacket has 4 inventory slots.

    I found a magazine for one, and agree, the modeling even for just that mag. looks really good. Now to find the other half to go with the mag...

    Which error? Client not responding? I see this often, though it never seems to be me that gets kicked for some reason, even on high-ping servers.

    Not that it's a big deal, but it drives me nutz when they jack with the servers switching from 1PP to 1PP/3PP. Screws up my favorites menu. That and the server I like to play on is now missing, and my stuff... Not talking about the persistence wipe btw, server restarted and never returned. Not the first time for that either.

    It would appear that the "the vicinity" surrounding you has been tweaked considerably (smaller) when looking/scanning for items in close approximation. I rely on this heavily when looking for items that do not fall within my red-green color-blind spectrum and have noticed that I must spend more time searching areas than I had become accustom too. Confirmed that barrels do not show up as being "in the vicinity" after being placed within trees/bushes. Also, I had no luck re-hydrating drinking directly from a pond. However, once I acquired a canteen, no issues, at least from a well. Weapons are plentiful, ammo/clips/magazines, not so much, yet anyways, in the hour or so that I've played. No infected yet, but I've been in the bush...no critters either. Working my way West, FPS on max settings is typical, no crashes, but some lag. No helo's just yet.

    Regarding the GP5 Gas Mask, are the filters replaceable? Curious, resulting from the time I spent (way too many hours) playing the Metro series.
