Sporting a shiny M65 Field Coat during this past rain event I decided to checkout its origination and background. My issue was all about it not shedding the rain. Now all we need is the liner and hood. Disclaimer: From some website... Product HistoryThe M-65 field jacket was first introduced in the late 1960s as an upgrade to the M-51 and M-43 field jackets that had been used in the Korean and Second World War by the Army. The improvements included the built-in hood that rolled and hid in the collar, two shoulder epaulets, extra pockets for carrying equipment, cargo, and accessories, and the brass zipper which replaced the button up style beforehand – allowing soldiers to quickly and effortlessly close and open their jackets for easy access. The M-65 field jacket also had Velcro on both cuffs in case the soldier wanted to roll up his sleeves. The detachable liner allowed soldiers to adjust the jacket based on the fluctuating temperatures. The field coat was used a lot in the Vietnam War and there the days were warm but the nights were much colder. Alpha was one of the first to produce the M-65 in 1966 and we went on to produce them for the government through 1990. Alpha made the first M-65 for the commercial market in the 1970s and by the 1990s they were available in a variety of colors. Product DetailsDuring Vietnam, the M-65 field jacket was issued to soldiers. This vintage field coat features a concealed hood, draw-cords for the waist, hood and hems to preserve warmth and dryness. The hunting coat’s brass zipper and snapping fasteners look fantastic while keeping out the elements. The army jacket’s bi-swing back ensures unrestrained movement. For extra protection add the M-65 Liner.

So after running around in a damn typhoon for the past hour and a half, damp, to drenched, and back again three times, I can say at this point that as long as you keep your gear on, weapon in hand and on the move, you are not going to die, even at elevation. The real question however, is now that my bag of rice is wet, can I eat it without having a canteen handy?

Exactly why I continue running around Chernarus. The Truth is Out There!

Ummm,.. are you sure she's talking about the game? Just saying... LMAO!

I always have a regular compass on me, and I still run off in the wrong direction sometimes. Just the other day, I didn't catch it until I was halfway across the map. Called myself names while shaking my head for the hour reverse trek.
-
Recalled that a few days ago we were talking about lights/lighting. Took this pic. last night, apparently NWAF if still taking inbound traffic to resupply Chernarus. I know it's been posted previously, but had not seen them first hand in a while.

Oh yes, forgot about that one. Had a similar issue within the last week, dropped through a floor but luckily I was on the first floor of a cabin while spawning in. Not sure if it's the same mechanic though.

You "can" store other items in the barrel during the process? Just looking for clarification. -Thx!
-
Sorry, but no. If I knew where to find an M4, maybe, just maybe, I'd catch a pic of one of those elusive creatures. Regarding your untimely death(s), I'll assume that you have no status effects in play. You just die out of the blue? Sounds like a sniper at first guess. Not sure what the range of gunfire sounds are these days.
-
Unicorns and Leprechauns too if you look hard enough. They always show up near the M4's.

Basic camp coming together. And if you haven't yet, you should try backing a truck into its tent and get the thing straight. And yeah, I finally took the time to figure out how to add an image using BBCode so Bones won't have to edit every other post of mine.

Thank you!

AWE MAN, my mouse wheel just gave out, what the hell!! Oh well, it was a good rodent, had some serious hours on it, thousands, so I can't complain. At first I thought it was my inventory giving me troubles... meh.

Regarding the V3S, it's inventory and adding a battery. What I ran into this morning was that if the inventory of the V3S is near full, even with the bottom row of storage available, you cannot insert a battery into its slot. Can someone please confirm and I'll add / open a tracker on it. Once I rearranged items to open up two rows at the bottom I was then able to insert the battery.

Levitating hay has been around for a long time. Haven't seen the logs though.
-
Mostly smaller items from my experience. Interesting to see a backpack spawn there though.

I can also confirm as of the latest update, no issues removing glow plug from vehicle. I did not have a chance to see the issue mentioned on the previous build however. Also, removing glow plug from vehicle now causes engine to stop running. Tried it a couple times yesterday.

Looks like a damn seance or sacrifice with those fires burning, and really, no joy? Dudester!!! Could have put em on a stick and made s'mores though... IMT and Dudester practicing their aim: Dudester's unsuccessful battle with rain-induced hypothermia:

I mentioned this a week or so ago after having spent several dayz trying to find a damn battery and basically giving up at the time, frustrated. The next morning however, batteries everywhere, well several at least. Guess I should also mention that I found two early this morning, but none since, and I've been looking... Shiny, pristine. Anything less than worn I usually won't bother with. Tents however, can be revived!!!

Need confirmation, in my above pic. where I placed a landmine, to, well, landmine stuff, but it has now disappeared into the abyss. Server did reset, went back to check if it was still armed, but it is just gone. Nothing else missing, just the mine. Odd...

Speaking of which, quoting my own post, where are the socks and underwear??? Thinkin I need to change them. Damn flies...

My preferred method at the moment... add some gear to wear if you can too. Gloves, hat/helmet, etc.
