Now I'm afraid to spawn with my exp character. I'm carrying more crap, "stuff" than any normal human could possible lug around. I mentioned in another post about the huffing and puffing, gasping for air, even in short bursts running. Now I'm sure to drop dead within minutes. Come find me, I'll be the one layed flat out face down in the dirt wondering why I ate so many cans of damaged spaghetti... -
I'm guessing they're called apartments... large multi complex buildings. Some have stores and such on the first floor, a garage or two but then stairs to access the 2nd and 3rd floors. They're mid-town on the main streets. These are relatively new, added in one of the most recent updates.

Was NE in Svet yesterday touring the city in one of the apt. complexes on the 3rd floor. All was quiet, rain was coming and going with Zed's all about the place, I tend to leave them (Zed's) be if possible and use them as sentries. Shots fired near by, my immediate thought was to fire my weapon as well just to let the person know they were not alone... I chose to keep quiet.

Exactly! I have triple the time in-game and have dropped off a ladder and glitched through a wall once each. I recovered from the wall glitch and was able to respawn and retrieve my gear from the ladder drop. People just run flat-out with no consideration for the situation. I hope the added weather effects make surfaces slippery. KOS will become a thing of the past with crippled newbs laying around everywhere you look. Free loot for those that think before they leap. Might as well add currency into the game so I get paid to fix your broken Azz.

I started a separate thread on this a day or so ago... It would seem that weight does indeed have an impact on stamina. I'm loaded out pretty well and it's very evident imho. -
Did a quick forum seach trying to confirm if in fact that your stamina is affected by your inventory or said weight of the gear that you carry. Has this been confirmed to be active in-game? My current character loadout includes a hiking backback with several cases (plastic) and one ammo box, various weapons, medical supplies, food etc. From what I've been able to determine, the distance you travel before huffing and puffing / gasping for air seems significantly degraded vs. a fresh spawn. My current character is energize, hydrated and health so imho it would seem to be active. Thoughts or comments?

Yes, this & this! Major towns should be full of them and noise should bring them in. Risk vs. reward. Atm, there's little risk from the environment aside from falling. Zombies should be front and center and I'm sure they will be further down the road in the dev. cycle. Put a 1000 zombies in Cherno and see who risks venturing into the city to snipe... -
I'll get a quick stutter while running at times, but nothing like we experienced this past weekend. The stutter was there prior to the patch last week and seems to be server dependent. Specs: GPU: 5970HD 4GB CPU: I5-3570 @ 4.4Ghz RAM: 16 GB OS: Win 7 64bit Pro

Item availability seems to vary based on some random factor. Some days you'll find 20 can openers then after the server restarts it's boxes of matches or screw drivers. The wife now asks what the spawn of the day is. Spent 3 days lookng for a morphine injector last week and into the weekend with none to be found. Lots of epi pens, and everything else though. Log-in the next morning and the first building I enter and there one is. I had problems finding a worn or better ACOG also, but suddenly found two in one hour of play this morning. As for the LRS, think I've seen only one in the past week. Haven't seen a reflex site for the fnx in a while either, now that I think about it. Personally, I love the hunt of finding better gear and the more difficult the better imho. Especially if it makes a difference in surviving. The time spent ground pounding should eventually make you stronger then say someone who just stumbled into the game.

At least your not trying to configure modem init strings or find an opengl driver or configuring the number of cylinders on a hard drive manually. Oh sh@t, I just gave my age away... Took a break, logged out and did some house chores, ran to the store, had some food and the first building on respawn...morphine. I'm holding on to this one and will find you when I run across anymore. Is there anything else you're short of while I'm on the prowl?

Being unable to locate some has actually frustrated me a bit. I like to keep one hard protective case with just medical supplies in it and I have one slot open... 15 can openers, but not one morphine. lmao!

I'd have no problem just giving you morphine to aid in your quest. The problem is that I've been looking for some for 3 days now since the last update with the increased cries of broken legs just so I would have some. Morphine it would seem has become either 1.) very rare or 2.) missing altogether (need someone to comment). In the past 15+ hours of play, typically 3-4 hours sessions on the same server, always on the move and on servers with fresh restarts and not a single one to be had anywhere. Epi's several, antiseptic, yep, charcoal tabs a few times but they also seems quite rare, saline and blood bags aren't difficult to locate either, though the number of med-kits seems to have been reduced imho also . Oh and why are Epi pens now all standing up on end? I have self-diagnosed OCD meaning I search nearly every building, hospital, stores, etc. The diners that you used to fined them from time to time in seem not to be spawing them now. Comments?
