That location is on my "places to visit list" running up and down the NW to SW corridor. The spawn items however, for the longest time on that particular car, seemed to have changed in the last two major builds. It could be coincidence I suppose, but it's been a while since I've found anything significant there. -

Seems more of a crap shoot. Statistically speaking, server population appears to have little to do with it. I've been on multiple servers since .50 hit exp. with 3 or 4 players where you lose connection, refresh the sever list, only to find said server is in the indefinite reboot cycle. Friday morning, 2 players on AU/NZ 04, I was warming up in a deer feed shack, connection lost, server lost. Still seems like there's a memory leak, loot spawn issue or both that eventually hits a wall. In general, I've experienced that both the AU/NZ and Singapore servers are less populated due to being above the ping threshold presets, however this behavior does not correlate well with server death. -

Thanks for the reminder Bone's... I retract my mini "rant". Apparently I should have no expectations, expressed or implied. I think most of us are well aware of this, but every once in a while I get my panties in a bunch. No offense. -

Regarding the exp. servers being down again and the fact that I work in the corporate world having to deal with 24/7 up-time for global support, it really grinds me that BI doesn't have the title of "IT administrator" assigned within the area of customer service to a couple people's performance objectives who's sole purpose in life is to monitor the servers. If I'm way off base here, please feel free to correct my old-school perspective. Any yes, I know I can always go and play on stable, but that's not my point. To be honest, I'd rather go fire up another game, but right now it's time to go make some breakfast, maybe something magical will happen while I'm doing that. -

This must also be the reason why, that at times after running, I hear my own footsteps catching up to my player position after I've stood still for a few seconds. -

I have a slightly different perspective on this. While I agree that as you've stated that Experimental exists for their benefit, the issue with servers dropping off-line in short order approaching a weekend doesn't make any sense. You lose a large sample of play test data from a newly released update that has significant changes and new content added. This is counter intuitive to progressing the product towards stable imho. -

I did manage to play for a few hours before the last of the 1PP servers went down. I'm looking for confirmation of a particular bug I encountered where my wool coat just disappeared, right off my body while I was wearing it. I was crouched in a wood shack wringing out my pants from the rain and all of a sudden, poof, gone, no wool coat. Now what is odd about this is that at that exact same moment, loot spawned at my feet. Some rope and a chem-light that had not been there prior. Now the wool coat I was wearing with its four pockets contained a green rain coat. Not sure if this has anything to do with anything, but I'm trying to provide as much detail as possible. I also lost a lever rifle after setting it down to pick up an MP-133, 2nd floor btw. I thought they had corrected that bug. I also experienced some rubber-banding which was the result of some minor desync going on at the time. Still had a good time during those few hours of play unlike the other day when the sever was barren. -
Funny to me, I'm red-green color blind and could give a rip. Not taking issue with your post by any means, color is very important. I just can't see it... :(

Quote obvious something's up when there are no hammers, lamps, chem-lights, or anything else for that matter. No worries... tomorrow is another DayZ. -

Just jumped on one of my favorite servers and was dead in 10 minutes... Starved to death, nothing and I mean NOTHING loot-wise, not even crap. Time for ice cream! Good night all! -

Seriously??? WTF is that! 5 minutes later... still laughing my ass off... I'm still going to keep editing this as I think of things. Any chance the welding hood's glass cuts down on the glare from the sun when heading west? -

About a week ago I was at the local Walgreen's (generic store with a pharmacy) and spotted some ice cream called "Michigan Deer Tracks". Vanilla ice cream with chunks of peanut butter covered in chocolate, and other chunks of dark fudge chocolate. So many times in life you are disappointed with packaging, but this stuff is da Bomb! Sorry, a bit off-topic, but if I could I'd send everyone here on the forums some to try!!! -

Yep, sometimes I just walk away and play something else for a while, sometimes a month. Stay off the forums and what for updates on Steam then start all over again. All is fresh, good to go...

So interesting on how we each play this game... for me, when I can't find anyone = :) Now mind you that I prefer single player campaigns with a good back story. Here however, I get neither, and those few "good" encounters I have really makes the game imho. -
Funny, pitchforks all over the place for me... Green rain coat, yes, yellow, no. I did find a .357 loader on top of one of those armoire's you see everywhere but for some reason I could not take it. Empty inventory slot and all, and I tried for a while...

Well, yes in deed, after what that bull did to me...horny bastard.

That is correct. If you plan a little in advance and know your next destination you should be fine assuming you're not already dying of something. I'm carrying two canteens at all times now, something I used to do early on in the game (boyscout mentality) before learning the map in better detail. The key is actually having a "thought" before sprinting in some unknown direction with unknown expectations of what you may or may not find. That, in my personal opinion, is the brilliance in some of the game aspects of DAYZ, planned or not. Now mind you this does not help a bit if you're a newbie or fresh spawn. Knowledge / experience of course will help, but luck of the draw is something I hope we continue to have to deal with. -
As promised... Bull's! Also, Gorka E Military Helmet and for good measure a shot of the party pit. Just need some pristine hoe's, lap dances for cans of beans? I dunno...

I have a couple pics of Bull's from game play over the weekend. Will post later.
