Yes, solo, over this past weekend. Thx! A couple setbacks along the way. Lost a truck battery and glow plug during a server restart. Odd things happen if you are in a vehicle. That and I inadvertently ran half way across the map it the wrong direction east vs. west, my bad. Been working on it all day, but progress seems slow to me.

I've seen a few errors like that but with varying file names. You pics look just as mine do, so must be an issue with rendering. What GPU are you running?

Could pass for snow... I've been busy... Oh and Dean dropped by to checkout the new digs... Getting close, hopefully just a few more days and I'll finally have this baby running again...

Thinking that I miss-understood this whole thing. I'm currently wearing a high-cap vest with my hunter's backpack. I cannot wear a high cap vest, hunter's backpack AND a smersh vest. my bad.

The current state of persistence seems a bit wonky (technical term) at the moment.. Several servers in specific locations where items had previously been, just disappear after a restart. This also seems localized to specific locations and specific loot. I'm going to need to take some pics for evidence.

I'm in need of a new mountain backpack now since I had to ditch the one I was wearing to recover this military tent. Such sweet sorrows... does anyone understand how hard it was to leave behind my backpack. Yep, time for therapy. ;)

I agree... total bs. How are you supposed to bring your tent, carry a spare tire and your backpack, truck batteries and all the other things a properly equipped survivor requires. Please do tell!!! And don't get me started on the fuel/jerry can First one of these for me btw... and yes, that is my dress on the floor.

Ok, so lootsplosions on restart are now resetting. Piles evaporate then grow until next restart...confirmed. So I was a bit bored this evening while playing, still seeking the damn elusive truck battery. Gave up on that quest for the time-being and for now I'm using all of my OCD super powers creating a pseudo tent city just a bit south of Zelen in the hills. If you're so inclined and have the wherewithal to identify this location from the images below, set your bearing due South, for approx. 180 paces and you will run across this camp. Need something, take it, have something, leave it. Have something to say, leave a note. Share your pics here on the forum. Curious to see how large we can grow this enclave. Bring your barrels, trucks, blow up dolls, whatever ya got. Could you define "military loot" a bit further? Pretty much all my gear was not found at crash sites, except the USMC pants, ammo box, and if I recall correctly, the helmet.

Did know about 0-1 1st/3rd, been playing 0-2 1PP.

It was a reset alright, but heli didn't re-spawn there.

Hmmm... need to check that out. Maybe integrated range finder or enhanced night vision with a battery added?
