    Or it could be someone using the glitch to spawn a copy of themselves in case they die. The glitched character will look at you and does look alive.

    I do use what i find. But if i have a sniper and i run to all the most dangerous spots (NWAF,NEAF, SWAF) in the game to find a scope I don't find one after all the fighting and risks along the way i don't think that's much to ask.

    Lets you start with a scope. When did anyone say they wanted to start with a scope, i have not heard that once. Ten hours is a very long time to find a scope for a sniper rifle. If you honestly think they are going to design this game so that you cant find a scope for a sniper within ten hours then you are deluded. This is just a bug and it will soon be fixed and you advocate it like its some great new feature, well guess what it's not a feature its alpha.

    You know what i completely agree with you. But the problem is when you are that guy from a thousand metres dropping people who are helpless like the grim reaper it feels so good. I hate being sniped but love sniping and i think everyone likes to be a sniper every now and again.

    Ok thanks but this is whats really buggin me, im going to have to server hop. I just read a post about someone who has been looking for over ten in game hours for a scope and there is no way in hell i am doing that. Server hopping it is then, my hand has been forced on this one.

    I have put over two hundred hours into this game and i have never seen a long range scope anywhere other then NEAF tents and maybe bolota sometimes. Are you saying that of all the towns i have cleaned out and believe me there have been hundreds i have just been so unlucky as to never find one ?? Because if you are that's fair enough, don't take this post as me doubting you.

    LONG RANGE SCOPES. PU SCOPES. I am asking where to find long range scopes, long range scopes can not be found in any of the buldings you have just listed except maybe the hangers although i have never found one in them.

    I dont want this game to go down the road of rpg's and mounted machine guns. Although you can argue the equipment might have been there It will just turn the game into a deathmatch. If there really was an apocalypse i really would not bother with carrying an rpg around and if you add mounted vehicles you would need to add something to stop them All in all, too much.

    Right so your answer is, there is no long range scope anymore. Thanks for the honesty buddy. And also everything you said about gunsmithing and realism. This game has so many unrealistic and glaring faults with it i am not even going to give you the time of day to think dean actually sat there and thought well attaching a long range scope to a mosin is really hard so we are going to have to take that out but we will add loads of full military equipped zombies in cities but no military equipment around all in the same patch. But thanks for the actual answer disguised in the long post.

    A whole ten hours. I think some people seem to fail to realise that people do not have 100's of hours to sink into this game because we have jobs and lives, ten hours to find a scope for a gun is a reasonable amount of time. COD KIDDIES (UGH i hate using that phrase) spawn with them, this guy has been searching for ten hours. I dont know what dean or the creators are thinking but they are really going to push away a massive chunk of their playerbase if they only cater to people who have no real lives and so much free time to play one game that they can look for 20 hours for one ESSENTIAL part of a gun.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Is that definitely a long range scope and not a pu scope though because i know i can find them in several places.

    Hey dude. Glad someone else is on the case while the rest of the forum completely ignores this issue and instead tries to label us as nuubz, bolota newbs or some stupid name the five year olds can come up with. Keep investigating because i think you are the only one who is at the moment.

    Yeah so now if you actually want a well attached gun you would HAVE TO server hop on an airfield or something. Even if you were the first to a base there is such a low chance you could get a decent weapon from it in one. Also this is not taking into account the fact that there are going to be other players there and if they beat you to it they will take everything that is useful. Its a complete smack in the face to those who don't like server hoppers and an added bonus for those exploiting it as they now have massive advantages over you equipment wise. My two cents.

    I thought a reduction in the amount of loot would be a good thing but this is ridicoulous. WTF As a fresh spawned i searched an entire village on my way to electro and found nothing. When i arrived at elctro i searched an entire row of aprtment blocks and found nothing usefull at all, most rooms now lying empty and not even worth exploring. Before people cry realism, where is the realism in row of streets and the buildings being empty, please tell me But i am finding lots of spray paint and the barns spawn a ton of OP loot. Good job. Anyone find this to be game breaking because it is for me ?

    I just cant understand how you know so much about the way i play from one set of choices i made on one character. From this one character you come to the conclusion that i always run along the coast which just is not the case Its bemuses me that instead of focusing on the actual OP you have decided to accuse me of not playing the game the right way and ignored the real questions at hand like so many forum goers tend to do.

    Was i really, i dont go to the south coast so what are you on about. I mostly go through novy then onto neaf but i guess you know better then me right??. You know where i go just from reading my post. Or am i not aloud to deviate from the north run anymore. I don't think the south run should become not an option all together, especially for anyone new who buys the game and will probably follow the main road. That is going to be a nightmare.
