These are main things that I feel like would improve game experience Larger player serves: Hopefully we can get up to 200 players on one server, but Definately Atleast 100. Stop putting the best loot all in one place: Why am I exploring the rest of world if everything takes place in one Required team cooperation: Make it nearly impossible to get superior loot by your self. Strategy in the game makes things more fun. Make all parts of map have different interests and things to discover. Again, I like exploring. Tracking: Be able to see how many people/zombies you have killed, survived, helped. Infection: Make zombie bites require antidote Intelligent zombies: Pretty silly when I can stand on a roof and have no threats,

I agree that it should be more difficult Also, I don't think the best gear besides guns should also spawn at military bases. I can literally get everything I need to sustain myself at a military base, which makes the game way too easy.

Okay here's the problem : Gear Hoarding

If your looking for game about just social interaction go play friggen Habbo Hotel. I play games that are ruthless like this because it gives you the adrenalin rush when you are in fire fights. Not because I want to sit around stroking other peoples online avatar, or sit around a camp fire singing kumbaya. -
This is all that needs to be said: Administrators should have all powers except for those that give them an unfair advantage over the rest of the community. For example they should have the ability to: Decide if it is night or day Decide if it is 1st person or 3rd person Examples of things they should not have the ability to do: Create a server that is private, gain equiptment, and then hop over to a public server. Spawn things for themselves or others Adjust the amount of Zombies on a server (Making loot easier to obtain). The idea of this game is to create an experience where gaining equiptment and status means something. Being able to cheat or make a game easy is just going to ruin the game for everyone. Plain and Simple.

Maybe adding equipment for stealth. Like shoes with soft bottoms. Interesting concept but we don't want to make the game too easy.

Instead of making classes explicit, provide enough interaction with the environment that it forces people to create their own class. For example: A person with a lot of weapons cannot hold medical supplies. This will naturally create a team of people where one is designated as medic or engineer. You should be able to choose any at all times, but Atleast providing groundwork is nice.

I bought DayZ standalone a couple days ago and impressed with the concept. There are a few things that I think would make my gaming experience a lot better. 1. Allow more players per server. Currently, it allows only 40 people per server, so getting into firefights would be a lot more exciting then just running around. 2. Log off timer I have no modivation to be held hostage or kidnapped simply because I can log off to avoid it. 3. Some form of ranking or being able to track survival time/zombies killed/players killed. This allows people to further set goals for themselves. 4. Provide more motivation to avoid dying. Make skills that require experience to increase. Also, make the best gear extremely difficult to obtain. Making this game as hard core as possible gives me that heart racing feeling when you get into serious shit. 5. Add different types of zombies or environmental difficulties. Adding different zombies that are super strong or fast would be awesome. Also making environments such as snow/desert that require different gear would be cool. 6. Don't allow people to mod this game. It is already a modification, and I would rather it turn into a MMO then just a complete sandbox game. Granted that people liked games such as minecraft, but they are doomed when people finally realize that it is extremely repetitive and lacks all difficultly. Cheating in a game just destroys a game. Overall, making the game hard, and allowing the player to have a lot of really fun things to do will keep me in it. I know it's still Alpha but right now I have max gear and supplys, and can't even find anyone to kill so standing around gets pretty boring. I hope good things are to come.
