The CCSD (Chernarian Creepy Stuff Department) Needs investigators for the Radio transmission mystery.
Poran (DayZ) replied to rydekk's topic in General Discussion
That entry is full of misinformation. It says the radio can't be acquired in game legitimately, which we all know is false. The screenshot appears to be from the mod as that looks nothing like the radios I have encountered in the standalone. The text about green mountain seems to just bee a straight copy from posts in the mod forums. Edit: Upon clicking the Mod:radio link on the page, it actually is just a direct copy of the Mod radio entry. -
Not sure you are understanding what Advent is telling you, at the moment a good majority of the servers are having issues connecting to the central hive. That is not saying that each has their own private hive, it is saying that for the time being it can't pull your character data. Because of this, each time you spawn on a server that is having issues, your character is getting reset. The only seperate hives right now are the hardcore and regular hives.

I am having this issue as well. Edit: I see Dovi posted at the same time i did.

Yeah it was most likely a server message, I have seen messages from the admin's for quite a few minutes after joining a server. -
I know that using items other than a can opener will cause those items to deteriorate pretty quickly. After one use on a screwdriver i saw it drop from pristine to worn. After only 5 or 6 cans it drops down to ruined.

will zeds be dropped from the game?

I actually believe OP is refering to this dev blog: http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/post/72473656344/dayz-three-weeks-on-the-road If you scroll down towards the bottom they have a list of their top priorities right now. Zeds are not mentioned on it at all. With that said, I don't believe they are just going to leave the zeds in their current state. They have stated a few times that there are lots of changes for them in the near future.
