He spawned in the midst of my crew and I, working our way into town. Before we finished him off, he told us he was so happy to get an elektro spawn because thats where his body and gear were, and now he was going to have to respawn and likely get screwed with a solnichny spawn. This is exactly why I shoot freshies, and all the justification I need to keep pissing you off by doing what I do. Feel free to bring your overinflated sense of self-righteousness to our server, and bring friends please. We will be more than happy to give you the opportunity to practice your craft. I assure you, we will not give any warning.

Maybe survival means to procure the means to live, by whatever means necessary, even including cold-blooded murder- and cooperate with a group to do just that. You are semi correct, in that *most* of those corpses will have been ventilated properly with a 7.62- however, I am not godlike, and do miss on occasion... hence the odd 5.56, or .45, or .357. My crew will provide cover as necessary. Also, while the OP may not be "every" freshie I cut down, he represents quite well the rage that the coast runners express in general. No accounting for the fact they are running for kilometers through sniper alley instead of heading inland *like WE do when we respawn*. If you are a freshie, and you run the coast, I have only one interpretation to make of your behavior: you were just killed in solnich/kamy/elektro as a "bandit" (and how I loathe THAT term as well), and are attempting to corpse run back to your gear to save what remains. As such, I feel compelled to prevent that from happening. In a sense, I view it as a heroic effort to keep the streets of Chernarus free of assholes like myself.

Yeah steam is fucked atm, my whole crew has been getting it in waves today. a couple at a time, random length of time that they are unable to log in.

This is the core of it. It has nothing to do with game mechanics, and everything to do with social conditioning in real life. Generations that have been raised to think they deserve everything with no effort put towards achieving those ends, being led to believe that they are immune to failure. the lrs is out there. bunks, hangars, police station, TEC building, schools, shipwreck...and on and on. they are NOT that hard to find.

Hell yes its ok, in fact i would relish the opportunity to pull that off myself. A squadmate and I had a similar situation fall into our laps the other day, where we found a geared guy prone and afk in, of all places, the top of the ATC at balota. Would it have been me that came upon him first, I would have popped him in the grape and been done with it, but my associate did, and had him cuffed before I got upstairs. Being that we were both geared ourselves, we really didn't want anything he had, but we did want to ruin it for him when he came back from his piss break or whatever- so my partner tried taking the guys M4. Unbeknownst to him, not only did he take the afk dudes M4, but ended up swapping his own fully magpul-kitted M4. It took him a couple of minutes to realize the error, but he finally dropped afk dudes M4 and took his own back from the guy. About 2 more minutes pass, AFK guy still shows no sign of being around- and the dreaded full yellow chain appears- immediately followed by a reset. When we logged back in, my partner found out that, much to his chagrin, he spawned in with afk dudes plain jane M4, most likely gifting his fully kitted M4 to afk guy upon his respawn. So yeah, it's definitely a cool thing to do- and sometimes it even works out in your favor. Just be glad you didn't get dead.

Run around and bandage people, give em food and drink, whaever- you doing that, doesn't affect me at all. Why should YOU get to have some sort of visual clue that your life is in danger when you happen to see me? I dont want any type of visual indicator that someone is "good" or "bad". Have you even bothered to read the server hosting rules? There is a solid reason for them, and that is because the game is in ALPHA TESTING... part and parcel to testing, is exploring the functionality of EVERY AVAILABLE FACET of the game and gameplay. By attempting to eliminate a HUGE part of the gameplay, you effectively curb the testing process and the ability to work out bugs. EVERY SINGLE TIME you log into the game, you have to agree to the disclaimer that this is an alpha. You acknowledge the state of the game before you even get to look at your character. You acknowledged you were participating IN A TEST before you even clicked on the "buy" button in steam. If the test is too hard for you to accept, you would be best served by going back to the mod, where you can have your ridiculous humanity bullshit. If it is EVER brought to SA, you can rest assured that it isn't going to happen anytime soon- so for the love of god will you fucking stop carrying on about it like a goddamn 14 year old whose mommy refuses to get him the latest CoD title for his PS4 because he already has it on xbox- "but MOOOOOOM, all my friends are playing it on PS4 now and I cant play with them!!!" Fuckin-a man, grow a set and play the game as it was intended.

after my 5 man crew got taken out by KO bambis stealing our loot and shooting us down, it only reinforces my desire to kill everyone on sight. good on the bambis for grouping up to take us on. they outnumbered and outmaneuvered us, and after the fact i dont feel bad about getting rolled the way we did. its all part of the game. but if you think im a baddie because i shoot bambis, well, clearly your perspective is far different than my own. the only people safe from me, are those in my direct squad. i tell my friends that if they want to join me in my server and play, by all means do so- but if you arent grouped with us on ts, you are as good as dead if i see you. 2 rules of dayz are dont get attached to your gear, and trust no one.

ill snipe at wells, but i dont camp them. only if i happen to be in the area, but i dont hover over them waiting to pop people. id rather catch them on the move, on the road. more sporting that way :) then again, the well in elektro thats in plain view from the hospital? you deserve to get shot if you try to use that and you dont have a whole crew providing cover.

330 hours, and I am certain I have killed more than 1 person per hour played. I would venture to say close to 400 kills, although I cant confirm every one. Like I said originally, I kill everyone.
