Totally agree with you, I was here just because it is maintenance day, and I was hoping for some updates.

I don't believe that it has something to do with "All the folks that think the devs owe them anything", there is just nothing left for us folks in this Alpha: 1.Experimental branch closed for 3,5 weeks; all bugs on stable were reported, described, reproduced and voted-up, probably like 5 times per bug; no dev blog, or any similar info for the same time period appeared etc.....

+ wall/texture glitch(prison mostly), m4A1 infinite ammo exploit, firearm impossible to use ( when looted from a deadbody)- all these bugs were reported and voted up multiple times.

Still no patch, no info about the patch, no dev blog, while the only thing continuously appearing are new game exploits, this is a perfect situation to be in.

Of course you can, I'm always reading, while waiting for my teammates to arrive.

Frankly speaking it is quite strange to have all these books only in English in a post-soviet state, in reality there would be none, so how about adding some books in Russian (Dostoevsky, Bulgakov, Tolstoy), and maybe also in Czech? The other thing I'd love to see in the game are newspapers telling about what happened in Chernarus.

Pistols should spawn with 1 mag IMO, never had a chance to test a pistol yet, as somehow I always tend to find m4a1 with several mags, before any pistol mags...it is also hard to find any speedloaders for SKS or Sporter 22, wich makes them pretty useless for me, as I already mentioned m4a1 with ammunition is so much easier to find. It seems more reasonable to spread pistols, SKS, and Sporter rifles along the coast and leave m4a1, Mosin for barracks, airfields....

So the new town doesn't exist yet?

Also was expecting a little bit more...AKM for instance, but still its better than nothing! Where is the new town?
