Funny story? More like a sad one. Fresh char, spawned in Kamyshovo. Walked through the street, saw how some other fresh spawn got shot by 2 childish bandits in a bush. They actually checked him for loot. A fresh spawn. Yes. I saw them in the distance, and I made the friendly-dance. They saw me, and they hid in the bush again. I checked the bush for 2 to 3 minutes, told another fresh spawn that there are some little tiny wiener bandits camping in that bush, killing all new spawns. He thanked me, and I also showed him the well because he was already dying of being thirsty. So a minute later, I checked the bush from the distance again, and they disappeared not seconds later. Guess what - They were ghosting. I got shot not even 10 seconds later from behind, from the same 2 guys. And just get that in your head - 2 fully geared dickless kids are ghosting for a FRESH SPAWN! Pretty sad, but gotta live with it. Anyways, to not get off topic: Saw 5 guys in a small house, started punching against the wall. They all went batshit crazy and started shooting in some weird spots all over the place. Damn that was funny.

Well done, Devs. This is something I really like to see, and it will make sure that players are going to stay longer, because no one knows if they actually found everything or not.

Most of those kids who shoot fresh spawns do have a mic, they're just too scared to talk, because who wants to hear a 13 year old kid with a voice crack? Correct. Nobody does. And they know it. So they just keep quiet, shoot you & push their tiny ego, and probably their tiny penor. You have to live with being shot when you're geared, that's normal. You're a possible threat from pretty much any distance, so most of the people will shoot on sight. I don't do that, but many do.Just one tip - Don't run straight to an armed player & shout "FRIENDLY", that's suicide in most of the cases. Sneak up to him, hide, and tell him to lower his weapon or he's dead in no time. If he doesn't lower it, shoot him. If he lowers it - Your choice. So yeah, welcome to DayZ. Home of little kids who got beaten by their parents, bandits, and also many nice people. You just gotta find them.

Gotta love Postal 2, that game is a legend. But yeah, I also thought about handcuffing people & pour gasoline over them. It's sick, but it would be pretty awesome. I'm sure nobody will ban you. We all just know that you're an asshole now, and there are lots of assholes. We're all assholes sometimes. You're maybe a special kind of asshole, but at some point everybody tries at least once to be an asshole. Some people don't get that this is a game, not a life. You can shoot whoever you want to shoot, they are pixels. Nobody gives a f-ck, you won't have nightmares for the rest of your life, you won't regret it, he won't leave a family behind, because in the end it's just a person in front of a computer who's going to rage because his formation of pixels died. The problem right now is the small range of endgear and items in general. Many people get bored, so they just KOS and spawnrape. I personally don't even get any gear anymore, I just run around the coast and fool around, start fist fights, and teach people how to properly 1 shot knock out others. I killed 3 fully armed russians that way, damn they were pissed. You just gotta live with things like nonsense KOS right now, just wait until the new update comes, that will keep the people busy for a bit.

Imagine you'd be the boss of a company. Just really simple. A company doesn't just have one kind of workers. They have workers who clean, workers who work on that part, workers who work on another part. They aren't robots with the same HDD installed, they're humans with different tastes. Some like coding, some like the graphic design. They work there. They have to make money. So they add a bit of everything, everytime. Do you get that in your brain? And fundamental things like sound, combat logging and server hopping take time. Everything needs to get tested, renewed, they need to talk about it, they need to brainstorm. It isn't just as simple as "OH LOOK, A MEMBER IN THE FORUM TOLD US HOW TO FIX COMBAT LOGGING, LETS DO THAT". And again, it's an Alpha. Fucking wait, or you won't get the game you've expected.

Well, I had this problem since the beginning, so I thought it's normal. Pretty weird that you got those problems just today. I sadly don't have a fix for this, otherwise I would've told you already. I also didn't found any fix, maybe someone else knows better.

I do have the same problem. 99% of low- to mid pop servers don't work for me, and it takes a looong time until some decent servers show up. It's annoying, but I expected it in an Alpha.

Let me guess - You go to the junkyard and buy a burned car with a total loss, and later you'd cry about the fact that it doesn't drive. This game isn't meant to be played right now, it's meant to be tested, and this will continue for atleast a year for sure, while they slowly apply all the fixes. Lags, rubberbanding, bad mechanics - That's what you've been warned of, but you still bought the game. And who said that they only focus on new content? Not every freaking developer does the same thing. I see that you don't even have the slightest clue about how this works. But yeah, this Alpha game is "sooo bad", even though its more stable in its current state than a big, well known shooter triple A title.
