It's impossible to give a complete answer at this point, since the zed population is so low. You can move inland really easy without a weapon right now... there's a chance you'll get got, running always helps... but you can go from Solnichniy to Bashnya with little resistance. Right now it's too easy to dip into smaller towns, or even large ones, for food and clothing upgrades since zeds are sparse. If it took a great deal more to reckon with them, either by stealth or muscle then I feel players will find the new spawn points a great deal more attractive. I also feel the inclusion of smaller calibre rifles and pistols throughout the interior combined with a greater zed presence will really open up initial pathways for players and groups. Some folks love the Balota meatgrinder... and hey man, that's cool... maybe there needs to be an option to choose your general spawn area, would help those who want to hook up with friends and those who want a more survivalist experience as well. An exact location wouldn't work, but say within 500m of Cherno's outskirts, oceanside, could be feasible. I think the map is a little large for truly random spawnpoints, especially when it comes to the co-operative, but I really like the variety these new locations give. By the time beta state rolls around, I feel people will really appreciate the new locations. I think this is the niche that police weapons and gear will fill. Shotguns, submachine guns and the rare assault rifle along with some body armor and helmets. The smaller the town, the less swanky the kit, but in a large city like Cherno, there'd be a reason for swat type gear. Gives a nice range of guns that are always ready to go, with slightly better kit still out there in the far northwestern wilderness. There should be a reward for those who make the long trek, then comeback to Cherno or Berenzino to make trouble.
