So not being able to get into one of the beta servers since launch i decided i would go on my original character, but wait whast this? I need to go thought the ballache of downloading the old patch! I wouldnt mind but, steams download is slow as hell even on 60mb (start... stop... start...stop) why not back up the old patch? Or even better allow switching from one version to the other?

My experience of the beta... 40minutes trying to get o the server is met by a WUHU! Finally on a server!!! Start running in the pitch black and a minute later its WHAT!!?! Session LOST!!?!! Yeh dayz was a tease imma drink beer and sulk =( lol oh another thing is anyones internet connection really laggy with dayz? seems pages dont load, like its hogging the whole connection.

Yeh im thinking tomorrow to, might go watch a movie i thought an afternooon nap followed by dayz be good but then it was delayed =(

Im sad no patch or news for 2 hours... Ya dont think the offices were invaded by zombies! :o

Gimmie the job i work from home for beans xD Oh and Dayz merchandise =P Question about the test servers though, are they all owned by BI or can anyone run them? I only ask because ive seen a few servers that say "Test Server" owned by whoever

Sounds issues are putting me off playing as i simply can not tell if someone is in teh town im looting or across the map.

Tried a server for about 10-20minutes. Saw loads of dead bodies Found.. nothing but loads of opened doors Left and decideed to make food.

So just been to the NW airfield and decided to make a sharp exit, main reason i heard can after can after can being opened seemed like there was 4/5 people near by just from the "psk" of sodas being opened and didnt want to try my luck. So is teh opening sound being carried across the whole server? or am i just seriously paranoid and going crazy? (i hear them i the middle of the woods too.) I understand your ment to be paranoid and wondering what's around the next corner i never said you shouldn't be, but when your hearing things happening across the map it's not fitting to the game or the ambiance that you're on about. Thats why i asked if it was a bug or if i was just paranoid and their were people there. its pointless getting over convident when ive just heard 5 (psk) and think "aaah thats happening in Kemenka and im at the NWA!" then BOOM! Yep i died, ive already lost my m4 and ammo box thats what im now trying to regain.

Yeh i know been looking for something i can use for gaming and listening to music just had to deicde if i should stick to the webcam as a mic and let it echo though my speakers or try and find soemthing with a detachable mic. As you said im not looking to spend alot of money on them, the last pair i brought and gave away were £30-40 and just made my head and ears warm to the point i reverted back to my sterio speakers and gave the headset to a friend.

Yeh, i have heard many cans and zombie rabbits and the very loud ocean lol and the odd eating sound not much else though i need invest ina headset though i guess. some the sounds like you said sholdn't be around could sit in a field and hear them.

There would be too much back lash if the game blocked other communication types or people would just find another program to use that was not as popular as for the ideas they sound good for vetrian players and maybe these things could come into affect when the items are damaged and the damage % could be how badly it could mess up and more likely to cause death. So if you have a pristine morphine injector there virtually no chace that something will go wrong, where as if you had a badly damaged one there is a chance that it would not inject any morphine, the needle snaps, the injector gets stuck while injecting (meaning you dont get a full dose your options is try another one (possible overdose) or wait a few hours and crawl till the morphine wares off then try again) there are other options and they could all work depending on condition. Not saying that pristine dont have a risk of having faults because there could always be a small chance it messes up just an idea if its not already suggested.

Died last night been playing for an hour or so today seen 4/5 backpacks 30-40 players on server, even met a guy that was friendly but then again we both had nothing really well, ok i had a greenrain coat, shovel, hat, sunnys and most importantly a CAN OPENER!!!! haha Now though im just trying to stay alive had a run in with about 8 zombies during my play and they are always a pain to get rid of specially when they walk though everything and line of sight does not matter.

Keep eating? If i keep eating or drinking my character will be sick lol

Problem i have with doors is sometimes my charcter gets stuck and will not go though or i have to vault up a step -.-

How do you know what your levels are? I mean i can get my food and water till im full but energy i dont have a clue what level it is at any time there is no hud telling you this, ive never seen the "healthy" status in game either probably because of my energy being low but i dont know. need figure this out ive had a few fights with Zombies one was with my firsts :/

Nah before i died i had 52 spare ammo for it lag is my enemy so far.
