    What do we really want as far as Day/Night?

    I was going to reply then I read this as one of the options "Lighten the game Significantly, virtually eliminating the threat of darkness as we know it currently." This is a very leading answer, the phrase "virtually eliminating the threat of darkness as we know it currently" is an opinion, and while I might agree with it for a poll to work properly it should be neutral. I suggest changing the last option to just. "Lighten the game significantly" You can't express the second part without opinion bias creeping in.

    There could be many reasons for this one of which is its just a place holder. But from my point of view it would make most sense to start adding "local" weapons first then move on to rarer small amounts of other stuff.

    I reserve judgement on that as I don't know much about guns outside FPSs which probably leaves me rather uninformed. The main thing I was getting at was that civilian weapon (whatever counts as that) will be the more common occurrence. Also it would have to be the type of weapon owned by civilians in a ex-soviet block country not the US, and while I don't have enough knowledge to comment on what that actually means they're bound to be different.

    Actually from what I've seen most people in favour of bringing back weapons like the AS50 seem to assume those against want no sniper rifles at all. Whereas I seem to see more people who are in the camp that wishes to see soviet not European or US weapons, which in itself isn't a no sniper rifle camp.

    This is actually a really useful point take note, the dev team are very open to change. At the moment they're probably just trying stuff out and seeing what happens

    Isn't the plan to make military weapons rarer with more civilian ones, so as the civilian ones are added you'll see more of them

    I'd point out that the weapons aren't a big deal, while there will be less M4s and Pythons, shotguns will now appear in the loot tables. Also they have a fix for server hopping in the works.

    Thats a good question its in one of the interviews with dean but I've looked at so many I can't remember which one its discussed in. The best places to check are the interviews on YouTube plus there are some really old pre-release stuff which is where it might be, also see if you can find some of the old reddit Q&As. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

    Actually there is a plan to implement more types of infect (n.b. not zombies). The infected have a life cycle where they start in their current form and then as the infection progresses they start to lose body function. Stage 2 leaves them walking on 4 legs and the final stages is them unable to walk and dragging themselves along the ground.

    Add "quests" (not quests...ummm opportunities)

    I have to agree here the idea is lovely the phrase your looking for rather than quest is 'dynamic environment'. Effectively more ways to interact with the places in the game. May I suggest starting with much smaller ideas like the ability to use the fires in houses and the stoves if they have a working fuel supply. Simple extras like that which would be an interesting aid to survival.

    Spawning NorthEast

    Don't quote me on this but i remember reading somewhere that the testing of spawn points in the patch notes is the devs testing a sub-set of the final set of spawn points each patch, in this case along the east coast.
