I know:)

Did you know there is internet on planes? So that is no excuse. Its not much work to summarize the changes into a .txt file and post it online and make it official.
-
How do you know? - How can you know for certain that everything from exp. made it to stable. - How can you know for certain that they did not add something, like a new bugfix. - How can you know for certain every change in exp. when there is no changelog for exp. Is it possible that something like a small bugfix is missed in a unofficial changelog No, you can't know for certain. The whole point of a official changelog with updates is to tell everyone about all the changes, so we don't have to guess and assume..
-
So, you say they have stopped giving us changelogs on stable because there might be coming a patch/fix soon? You understand how fucked up that is. A changelog is info on what have been changed in the last update. A patch a few days later would normally have their own changelog. Every game developer delivers changelogs when they change anything. Why is it OK that DayZ dev missing a changelog in their updates? A CHANGELOG SHOULD ALWAYS FOLLOW AN UPDATE. We should be allowed to know what they have changed to a product we have payed for. Its actually crazy that you guys don't think its important with a changelog. '
-
Not surprised you did not understand my point, but i will not go closer into it. I don't think it would help at all:) So... Where is the changelog??
-
So, if that the case. Where is the changelog? Should be a quick task to make it official if nothing have changed from exp.. So, where is the changelog?

Where is the changelog?

So, you saying they don't have the time to write a changelog? You really believe that? I have bought a lot of early access game the last year, and i have backed a number of kickstarter projects. I have never ever experienced that a update coming without a changelog with other developers. Why do everyone else take their time to do it, and not the DayZ dev? To update the people who pay their salary about changes made to the product in development is actually the very least you could expect from a developer. And we are those guys that pay their salary, and they have for some reason taken their liberty to place us in the dark and don't give us the very basic information about changes they have made to the product we payed for. Its mind blowing people accept that.

Where is the changelog?? It seems like the devs have stopped giving a damn about the community. They have stopped giving us updates about important features like the new renderer, and now they don't even care enough to release the changelog. What the fuck guys?? Yeah, i know. Here comes the brainwashed believers (probably beliebers too) making excuses and telling i don't know what i'm talking about and that i am a cry baby. But the truth is when you can't get around to release a simple thing like a changelog within a few hours after the update, well then you either don't care or are just plain ass lazy. There is actually no other explanation because a internal changelog is always finish before they push the update. ALWAYS!! If not, they wouldn't know what changes have been made, and that is probably just as bad, if not worse. So, where the fuck is the changelog?? It really pisses me off when i have payed for a product in development and when the makers stop giving a damn and couldn't care less about giving information about the progress. I do of course know development takes time, and i'm not upset because of that. I expect development to take at least two more years. But i also expect to get information about the progress along the way, and definitely expect to know what changes since last update. Changelog is a simple thing, and it should always be released with the update, or at least within a few hours. Every other developer does that, and it should not be different here either.

Yes, i did. First off. A deer can actually run up to 75 km/h in real life, so that they are so fast in game is just how it should be. You wanna hunt a deer, you need to be patient, move very smart and hit your first shoot. If you have problems with the zombies circle around you, well then you are basically standing on the same spot. The zombies should be very fast, and force you to move smart and be accurate when you take your swing. In fact, a Zombie should be so hard to overcome, that you seriously need to consider if you are gonna fight or just run for your life. However, they should of course not move faster then their animation, run full speed up steep hills, become invicible, teleport and so on. But this are bugs, and will be fixed. However fast zombies and fast animals is just spot on. Especially when stealth works as it should.
-
Moving too fast?? God no, they should be just as fast as us. The Zombies should be really difficult to take down and they should be a feared enemy. Hopefully they will deliver more damage in the future and keep their speed. However the teleport, ruberband and the fact they can turn invisible sometimes is features that i could be without. But that is of course just bugs and they will be fixed before game is finish:)

I don't think they are broken because i can drink of them. Not tried to fill a canteen though. Perhaps you just experienced some desync?
-
There is a lot of ambient sounds in the game atm. I almost shit my self when a very loud chicken sound suddenly appeared when i was in the middle of the forest. No chickens was around, and i know that because i searched for it. So i guess this is something we just have to deal with right now. Not a big problem, and i'm sure it will be fixed some day:)
-
Played for about 35 minutes on one of the new servers. Performance was good, no desync and no technical problems. Performance seems ok. I did not enable core parking, but still had between 40 and 60 FPS with normal graphics settings. However i did not enter one of the big cities, so i would not know what would happens then.. Loot seems also ok. However i did not see a single zombie, and i got scared the crap out of me when a high ambient chicken sound suddenly decided to play in the middle of the forest. No chicken was seen during my search following. Pleased to see there is progress, and for the first time in ages i kind a want to play more. But first football and Champions League. Then i will play some more:)

New hardware? I guess this is the new servers, but what exactly is the improvement here? Should we expect better performance and stability on the new servers?
-
This build is unplayable atm. - Servers go down extremely often. Happened on average every 5 minutes for me during the last 30 minutes. - Zombies lags/teleport a lot due to desync. - Desync is really bad. But performance was good for me. Well, good is maybe not the right word, but i had my FPS between 45-70 all the time. Even in the city. That's at least progress, because i usually have down to 30 FPS. And i have a gtx 980 and 5820K @ 4.5 Ghz. Nice to try it out for a few minutes, but i guess its back to H1Z1 for me. I can't play when its so much desync, perfomance issues and server problems. Can't wait til all the new game engine modules are ready because i think they will fix all of these problems. And Dayz is gonna be epic when its actually playable:)

... we could buy a large piece of eastern europe and rename it chernarus. We could hire the locals to be our zombies and beans would be our national food...

Why would think its a good idea to ask the artist to stop working on new guns until the programmers is finish to work on the game mechanics? Or didn't you know there are different people and different teams with different skills and knowledge working on different aspects of the game?

Yeah, something is wrong. I joined a US server just to play, but right now i got the "session lost" error and all servers seems to be offline. -

luckily we don't need one. Using time and sun or the stars to find the direction is also possible. -

Yeah, they do. Ropes do not naturally grow in Homedepot. There are many natural materials you can make rope out of in the wilderness. I guess crafting ropes will be added to the game in the future.. -

Idk, but why would someone use guts for this instead for a rope? Maybe guts can be used to in traps to catch animals like bears, wolfs, wild dogs or other meat eating animals when they get into the game? -

But its not so efficient, so you get less meat by using it. -

So... Is it just me or is the european servers down? I only find three 1st person servers, but of course they are all full. Same for you?
