I like this idea. Zombies are weak and just a pain in the ass. Would be cool to have a circle of vultures above you while you are bleeding to death, or to hear the noise of wolves at the night.

Looted at a night server, the NWAF and military bases by it. Best loot ever. Turn up your gamma, brightness, turn off shadows clouds, make sure HDR is on low, plus flashlight, makes night bearable. Since no one goes at night, then you get great loot.

Apparently you did not read my previous posts, or really understood them. I made the statement that this is not a exploit and provided the definition for it. Then I said, if exploit does encompass this, then it would mean encompassing many common things that people use everyday as exploits. You cannot make a exception when it comes to definitions. It is or it isn't. I stated a few things that would be considered exploits. Skyping, can also fall under the tag exploiting if you consider this a exploit. You said it was still a exploit and I am promoting exploits. I responded with my last statement because if the definition of exploit in your opinion includes this, then it would include several other common things, that likely you have or are doing right now while playing DayZ. The only thing you have contributed to this thread is protesting the use of settings purposely given by the devs for a advantage. This thread was to inform people how night servers are places of good loot because no one goes there. Your posts have nothing to do with this at all. Do I think this needs to be fixed? Yes, but it still isn't a exploit.

I wouldn't say it is a cheat but I see where the OP is coming from. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it, and we would just have to live with it and incorporate it.

Maybe you should look at your posts from a different perspective, and stop posting or actually give this person respect. It is painfully obvious you show no respect to him and people alike. That's not a really good idea, very dumb, regardless if it doesn't SEEM to have effects now. It is like saying, "Hey its ok to play with fire, I haven't burned down the house (yet) just scorched my desk a little." Still not ok to play with fire.

They were probably wearing at least earplugs. 249, PKM, fire the 5.56, same as M16. If anything, it is probably quieter thanks to barrel length.

Kinda curious about this, but I find FAR more FNX45's than revolvers, AND I read on the wiki that revolvers have more damage and are more accurate? However that is the same for me when it comes to Mosins and M4's. I find more M4's but it deals less damage, YET it is a military weapon. Not only that but I have not found any ammo or magazines for the FNX45. I am thinking of ditching my pistol for extra space in my backpack for food, water, ammo, etc, but I am wondering if I should keep it and hope to find ammo and magazines for it in the airfield I am headed to? FNX45: Is there any real advantage over the revolver?

Like how we have a box of ammo, would be nice if batteries were stackable(1 slot, 2 batteries?) And it would be nice to find a package of batteries near a electronics or hardware store. A pack of 5-10 batteries.

There wouldn't BE any suppressor sounds. ATM there is no subsonic ammunition in the game, which means putting on a suppressor would make the gun's CRACK noise noticeable. It wouldn't be quiet, although it would be far harder to determine what direction the shots are coming from.

I can understand, but I would still like to see commercial 2 slot 2 battery packages. They have 2 batteries, take 2 slots (just like 2 batteries) and you can open them for the batteries.

True but elektro has streets as well. You want the most adaptable weapon there, which is the M4. Good in both CQB and short-medium range combat.

I don't think there is any one "fix" we can introduce to help bring hackers or script kiddies (which what most people mean by hackers) to the "light side." If there is a solution, which I do not know, then it would be costly to implement, and may not work at all, or only for a tiny fraction of these guys. It's the same thing with the prison system most countries have. It is really the only catch all solution we have. There is a better way, rehabilitation, but we don't know exactly how we can do it, and if it works for a fraction of the prisoners, if any at all. PS: Most hackers, especially script kiddies, are young people. TLDR, I can't give you a answer. I realize why you made this topic, but I am going to tell you that no one has a solid idea what the solution is going to be.

Having pain killers (morphine, which this game has) would ban it from Australia too.

A gun is still a gun. However, in a competitive environment like elektro, you want a M4, not this shotgun.
