2 ideas for items in the game I think would be a RARE MILITARY DROP invisible laser handheld range finder and a COMMON CIVILIAN DROP long range adjustable binoculars. The laser from the range finder should be visible and very noticeable if someone uses their night vision or IR thermal. There should also be a SUPER RARE MILITARY DROP military invisible laser range finder binoculars.

But you wouldn't use a sniper, you would use a LMG/HMG. And you could just fire a few bursts of 7.62 and kill the drivers, instead of trying to stop the car, and it would be cheaper than 50's. BTW: like I said, rifle rounds easily penetrate cars, and several bullets hitting the engine would seriously damage it.

A LMG or maybe even a 50 HMG would be the ideal choice for protecting checkpoints against cars, not a slow semi auto expensive sniper rifle.

The only rifle inaccurate in SA is the M4, and the .223 round is not made for long range engagements. The Mosin is the sniper, and VERY accurate. However, I do like your ideas, just trying to point out that the guns used for sniping are fine, and that the M4 is not a sniper.

So you are telling me, the military would be using 50 calibers against cars with people in them while there is a zombie outbreak. The military cannot prepare and specialize for every little event. They prioritize. In this case, the priority is zombies. They aren't going call in expensive 50 ammo and rifles just for people in a car. Not to mention that any sort of cartridge shot by a rifle, even .223 can easily penetrate a car.

I put in the original post a situation that would justify suicide.

Real ACOG scopes have their reticules illuminated at night, due to the fact that radioactive materials giving off light make it up. Would make ACOG useful at night.

Well I am saying with a gun or knife. You would have to spend 20-45 minutes searching houses to find that.

There wouldn't be a reason to get a tank in the first place unless the person in charge of items to be delivered was a idiot. Would you use a tank on soldiers? The only difference with zombies is that they do not respond to pain (at least what I see) or to command. No one right in their head would use TANKS against them, and if that statement works, then so does the one No one right in their head would use a ANTI MATERIAL rifle against zombies. For one, ammo is expensive, for 2, IT'S loud and would attract far more zombies. When a 7.62 can do the same job why would you need it? Unless the US was fighting against the Russians, and they brought their tanks.

I think a better idea would be that if a bullet has hit or has flown within a certain area, a invisible timer would start, like 30 seconds. Every time another bullet is detected then it resets. During the timer you cannot leave.

So? People spawn camp the new east spawn point all the time, and they spawn camp the airfield as well. This idea is no different.

I dislike this idea. It should not be too long. 2-5 minutes at the max, but more is just ridiculous. Some people join a server and may not like it for a variety of reasons: Night, PVP, PVE, High Ping, Spawn Campers, etc. I had a idea about adding traps to the game. I think that would cut down server hopping in high valued areas, by spawning in a bear trap or a mine.

Yes, but only if you used it after a long time. Melee, killed or shot or opened cans with it many times to be named water bottle, filled and drank out of it many times. ETC.

Like having the maps show Lat and Long so instead of saying "I'm by this rock lol" to your friend you would instead say "I am at about X by Y" and other tools to help us find it. Like a sextant and a watch. I would like to have a nice gold pocket watch in game.

9mm wpuld make the most sense. Many pistols use the same ammo. Never heard of 7.63....

Stuff like bear traps, mines, that thing that captures animals, etc. I think traps would be really awesome. Would work against server hoppers too >:D Would be cool to put a trap in a typical server hopping position and watch a person blow to pieces!

There is a M4 rifle in the game but no AK-47 HMMM.

Fallout has cannibalism. There should be some very serious side affects though, like making you crazy or something. It would make other players even scarier. Now you would avoid roads because there are cars with cannibal bands that are cannibal turned bandits hungry for loot and meat.

I agree. Instead of having a key to get someone out of a zip cuff, they should have a friend nearby who can cut it with a knife, while keeping it common so it will actually be used. The key thing annoys me.

I like all these ideas. I have to say one thing however. infrared vision and Thermal vision are the same thing. I assume you are talking about NIGHT VISION which is the green stuff if you know what I mean. Night vision can utilize active infrared but it is not infrared. Thermal vision is.
