These days, when you die, it instantly goes black screen. I think, to add immersion, when you die, you go to 1st person (if you aren't already) and you watch from your eyes for a few seconds. Noise is slowly blocking out and fading, and your vision slowly blurs and just goes away from you, like getting farther away, tunnel vision. When the tunnel vision then fully blocks out the screen, it says you are dead.

Why not have the public hive servers banned from modding, but private hives can mod? Simple fix.

Ok, I probably told some people I killed people in DayZ. Technically, I only killed one, and that was a tea bagging bandit. I have CAUSED the deaths of several people before, but it was indirect. Well today I spawned in Berezino, or the city south of that? I don't know, but there is a crane and a construction building south of it, and it is on the east coast. I checked the docks, found ammo, went to several houses, food store, 2 apartments, and the construction building getting me respirator, tons of food, fire ax, first aid kit, and mountain backpack. I went into the school and holy moly! M4, revolver, AND FnX pistol. Plus a box of 7.62! I go to the top and found a mosin, plus another box. (I left the m4, kept the mosin) Then I server hopped the school. (OMG THATS BAD, yeah I know) Found ATLAS BIPOD, PU scope, and a extra box of ammo. I did it one more server hop, found another fnx pistol, but I already had one and left it, then I heard zombie cries. Since they were on the ground and I was on the second floor, I didn't care. Then I heard the zombie stop crying, and a person moaning in pain. I swear, time slowed down for me, I pulled up my mosin and watched the door way. For two minutes I heard the guy keep moaning, and bandaging himself, then opening a can and eating the contents. My heart just kept on beating. I heard him coming up the stairs... I SAW HIM, he went into the room infront of mine, and didn't see me. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I DID THIS, but I had my finger on the first mouse button, and my crosshairs over the guy, I couldn't shoot. I couldn't god damn shoot. Then the guy turned around. I LITERALLY closed my eyes and fired a shot, going into his belly. He said over mike "dude I'm friendly, its ok." For me, I saw that as a relief and put my weapon down. I bandaged him and said maybe I could give him some supplies (only had basic clothes, and a splitting axe) He said it is ok and that his friend was going to meet him. He went outside and I followed him. I told him there was a pistol upstairs but he didn't care. Then I said I had a first aid kit, and it might have saline. He said "Oh man, I need saline!" I put down the first aid kit and looked at its contents and typed that there was no saline. No reply Then I heard the silence shattering noise of a axe coming down on me. The guy turned on me. I left the first aid kit and ran, ran around the school building, but he was faster. I thought about pulling my mosin but if was far too slow, I was too scared to even try it. My heart beated fucking fast, and I had a SEARING PAIN in my upper right chest. I was running so much, and didn't realize my screen slowly turning gray scale and blurry, and saw that the guy was getting ever closer. So I did it, it was so easy, it was right there. How could I not. Pain in my chest, heart beatinf fast, I was so scared of a video game. I combat logged off. i rejoined another server and bandaged myself up, applied alcohol (luckily there was a bottle in the school) and then ate anti biotics. For some reason I got sick right after eating the meds. I ate all my food and drank all my liquids. I ran to the forest, deep in the forest. And I am still running. -------------------------- DayZ taught several things to me: One: NEVER EVER TRUST ANYONE, no matter how innocent or weak they look. Two: IF you shoor someone and they say no don't shoot, close your eyes, and keep on firing Three: NEVER eat antibiotics. They get you sick Four: DO NOT server hop in areas that people would be. Many would disagree, but I am not going to do it anymore. Five: if you are getting attacked, just look away and let yourself die then play another game. Again people would disagree. So yeah, kinda feel bad for combat logging, and My chest hurts really bad, and yeah, thats it. I guess If I cannot kill some one in a game, I can't shoot someone in real life.

AR-15 would be easily found all over the world, even in poor countries like Chenarus. You would only find M4's in countries involved with the US. I think AR-15 should actually be added, using .223.

I spawned on the coast and went prone on the road because some bandits were spawn killing. I went AFK to get noodles since I just spawned and I was hungry. Came back to a bandit with a gas mask humping me and making sex noises, so I got up and punched him in the face, and punch the crap out of him. Took his M4 and gear, killed all the bandits. Bandits must be so bored these days if they have to spawn camp new spawn for no reason and hump us.

AR-15 isn't the same thing as M4.

Would be cool id we added meth, crack, coke, weed, LSD, and shrroms into the game. Meth, makes you look like a zombie. Coke, gives you stronger melee Weed, faster reloading Shrooms, bandits look like demons LSD, zombies are ponies.

Would cause extreme lagginess after everything spawns, or if they randomly spawn, some of them would not spawn. I see why you propose this but it is a terrible idea from a player's/coders standpoint.

Asking for no pve, is like asking for a burger, with no veggies or fruits.

Just out there suggestions. 1. Sexual needs. Think about it, alone, no one near, no one, just you and your hands. I'm sure rape, or some sort of sexual thing would be common in the apocalypse. 2. Dog meat I am sure people will kill their pet dog and horses, butcher them, and eat them. I actually like this idea, should be added with hunting. Dog meat would be nutritious. 3. So it is a PvP game? There are many other games to play if you want a pvp experience. Why add zombies, why have starvation, dehydration, all this pve stuff?

Yes, but you would severely be hurt psychologically. PTSD is a example, insanity another.

Well maybe you guys should be more careful and keep your distance from spawns instead of being all macho. If some one gets up close with you while you have a gun, you deserve to die. Crying baby bandits, getting killed by fists because they think they are all that.

I hope there is a delay between suicides, but I am glad they are adding it.
