I was bored, but instead of playing DayZ I looked up scary moments. I found this video (first result) which I think capture at least some of the spirit of DayZ. There are also threads about scary moments as well. Would be great if we can reach something like that. Night time. The best time. The SCARY TIME.

I like the idea. The zombie virus in order to take over the world, must be very prone to mutation, adaptive, and use weird things to infect humans. ZV could be zoonotic, and a mutation can make a strain that infects sharks.

I have the healthy status right now. You have to eat and drink ALOT and make sure you aren't sick whatnot. You will eventually get it. I only got healing status once, though I have been healing many other times.

No one is having sex in Chenarus. And who in their right mind would have kids while they are barely surviving during a zombie apocalypse? And what woman would consent? She would have the above in mind, This means rape would be the source of uncared for children.

You guys are either lying, getting it from another person, or there is a problem with your eyes. Real life at NIGHT with zero light pollution, or the country, which I frequently visit as many family members live there, you can see from very well, to very little depending on the moon. You guys must realize, that at night, with no pollution, your eyes fully dilate. So much you can see A MATCH BURNING FROM MILES AWAY, and if would look like a flare. At new moon, it would be extremely hard to see. At full moon, once your eyes dilate, it's just like playing DayZ with gamma up and the HDR on low. The only thing that needs to change is how the moon affects the brightness of the map. Torches, matches, ANYTHING that gives off light, should be seen like a flare from miles away. If you are using your torch once fully dilated, it should almost blind you, then make your pupils go small again, meaning, harder to see areas not illuminated with a torch. In real life, full dilation can take about 8 minutes, give or take 4 minutes.

Then when we get 150 player servers? When spawns will get fixed? Bad idea over all. It isn't retarded. Bandits and maniacs go to large cities sometimes to have fun by killing newspawn or tricking them. You just never stay around to find out.

I just noticed when I picked up a M4 today that it doesn't have a flash suppressor. In fact, there ARE no flash suppressors at all. I am pretty sure, correct me if I am wrong, that the military makes sure every rifle and machine gun have a flash suppressor, and that it is standard issue. If anything, the flash suppressor should be a very common loot in military areas.

I know, I was just talking about the US military.
