I honestly like this idea, my character looks like a complete derp sprinting with a backpack in his hands, and how many people can do a full on sprint with a 2 man tent in their hands.

Lol, I remember last time I was at a lodge, in the middle of Canada. It was nighttime, and I was sitting by a large fire outside (about -6 C). I noticed steam rising off my boots and jacket and started freaking out, hilarious :D

Apologies, I phrased that badly. I meant that when someone eats, they make a noise. Although the current audio clip is, ehh, not that pleasant. Eating audio isn't on the top of the devs to-do list.

What do you propose replaces it? When someone eats they make a noise....That's what normally happens.

In the last few days, I have met two people. One fully geared individual, and one starving bambi. Both were friendly I helped the bambi, but sadly, do to the water pump glitch, this poor bambi decided to give himself to god... The full-gear caught me in a firestation, at the time I was searching for earbuds :D So I was AFK. He came up behind me, mumbled something in-audible. Naturally, I went full sprint, surprised he had't slain me yet, hopped into a building, chased by multiple zeds. I hear multiple gunshots, and I immediately decide that I was to die there. Luckily, I didn't the player called out to me that he was a medic, and wanted to know if i needed any help. Curious, I pulled out my 1911, and peaked over the staircase. He waved and came up, bandaged me, and gave me some saline! So there you go, there are some friendlies left, you just gotta know where to look!

Wondering if anyone else noticed this. I was in Elektro, minding my own business, with my desync at 0, everything running beatifully. When, a young player comes into view, we meet, we talk, and after about less then a minute, both our desync rates jump past 9000, at one point I hit 10000. Both of us are lagging all over the place. At one point, my character all of a sudden decides he will no longer stand being controlled by my mouse and keyboard, and literally starts running and looking around in circles without me. Odd, very very odd if you ask me.....

How about a grenade >:) That would be fun, a bunch of people hold up in a locked house, and the door gets blown completely off :D

I was helping a few mates of mine hold Kamy while we waited for some more guys to link up with us from Solinchiny. We were on a strict Hero RP only mindset, kinda funny. A lone bambi came walking down the train tracks. I was the only one to spot him, he came up to me. He asked for directions to NWAF. I just laughed, and told him that I could help him get there much faster, and shot him, point-blank, no mercy, no apologies. It had been a while since I had killed, I had forgotten the rush.... I don't regret killing that bambi, it reminded me, and all the surprised players with me (I was the one who suggested the hero mindset, ironic ikr :D ) that life is fragile, and can and will be stolen from you with one....single....click....

Same problem, except no soloutions are working, and this happened to me after I raised my graphical settings... WTF DayZ, ik its alpha but still... Edit: Changing the .cfg settings fixed it, but I had to close steam, close/reopen dayz a few times, and re edit/save my changes to the .cfg a few times...

Ya, I don't think any of this will be added, Although, bet that Hitman and I could become best friends :P As others have stated, there is nothing else to do, so, the sad assholes with no life will KOS, the wannabee do gooders will be heroes, and the faggot artists will be Bandits. I've also noticed language barriers don't help the mentality, but nothing you can do there. I feel like the only possible why to not be a KOS victim is to A: dont be seen B: Find a good group to join

I assume tents would be a form of permenant storage, I can't wait for the day when restarts are mega rare

Could be, the docks at Elektro are pretty empty, the most noticeable landmarks of Elektro are, the city entrance sign, the notorious sniper hills, and the remote fire station.
