Private Hives seems to me the only full-proof way. I personally play on a private hive server, and honestly it's quite fun. Especially getting to know the community through the servers forums.

So, after installing the arma pmc dlc, and a taviana map, something interesting happened. I notice that, suddenly, I am getting these crazy micro-stutters.... Ignoring it, I play for a little while, but everything gets progressively worse. Nothing has worked so far, I have tried using different lauch options, to editing the arma .cfg files... Right now I am seeing if I missed a patch, but in the meantime, anyone know how to fix this?

Omg, its fun. The KodKiddies normally are the best, they get all weird and freaky. Sadly, the more experienced older bandits just kinda laugh.

Handling bandits hmmm. Depends on the bandit, if its a REAL bandit (tries to capture and torture me) I go with them, give my location to a couple buddies of mine, and pray they get to me before the bandits go to work :) During this situations, I also hope we manage to capture a few of them, and learn the mentality of these people. If it's a filthy KOS ass who tries to shoot my from a distance, I sneak around them, get behind, and as I whisper odd sexual references, I cuff em, and torture them :) I especially love when I successfully capture one, and make them beg (some kids place WAAAY to much value in gear). All in all, bandits are apart of the game, and they are sooo much fun to screw with :D

I'm not going to vote, as it's kinda in the middle. Loot spawns are becoming more sensible, but there are still pockets of those loot glitches, which to me, are a little game breaking (just my opinion).

Go into the DayZ .cfg files (located in the DayZ folder) and edit the resolution code to your comps Height/Width. Remember to save, try it a few times, I think I kept changing it about, ehh, 4 times before it worked :D

I've had this happen to me, I actually died of it :D Your best bet is to coax the zed out of the house, or simply kill it. Avoiding zeds isn't to hard, just break it's line of sight for long enough and you will be A-O.K!

I have spent the past week searching for SINGLE AK.... NOTHING! I have found two M4's, 135 rounds for em, 2 V3's alongisde plenty of fuel cans.... Oh not to mention the 75 drum mag, and 3 ak101 mags, 2/3 were full......I think i'm cursed.... All I want is to play with any of those goddamn ak's :(

Ha, back in .49, a mate and myself stalked this bambi sniper all the way from Solin to Elektro. He settled down in sniper hill, and so we settled in a bush behind him, after letting him have a bit of fun, I said in mic "PeekaBoo I see you!" Poor sap got startled, jumped up, and we nailed him in the face. I walk over and say "Sorry mate, but wabbit season is over."

Just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this; I can't add servers to my favs, any fixes for this?
