I'm just gonna be a hero/Bandit, help, and if i'm in a bad mood, i'll take prisoners and do a bunch of random crap XD, then make them run while I fire shots without scoping...

But I don't want to break my legs ;(

That's DayZ SA...It's Alpha, I was on a server with a friend of mine, we were the only two on, and partially geared... We meant to meet up a Chernaus, but, apparently when walking through a dirt road, you get insta-killed...

What if only heroes got some special skin? So you don't know if there neutral or bandits, but heroes are identifiable...

Just got an M4, and was itching to try it out. Saw a guy with a mosin and long-range scope. Guess what happens next XD. This dude was full geared so I was very happy. Like you all say, karma's a bitch...Next day I was knocked out and killed by two new-spawns whom ambushed me while I was trying to help a differnet guy.

I tried the same thing, was ambushed from behind, and lost a bunch. For the next few dayz i KOS'd, and I planned on being a bandit for the rest of my dayz. But, after reading all these comments, and this story, I now understand why people are heroes, and i want to be one to :)

Somewhat branching off what u said, I wonder if they will add tents or something that will allow players to set a spawnpoint...

Being serious here, be careful with these little french kids, I play Rust, and half the time my fav server is down cuz some french kid was raided, and decided to DDos the server. Although, this could only probably happen to the Privately owned servers xD.

I discovered everyone I meet on dayz is either a KOS'ing asshole, or a bandit that makes people give BJ's :(

HI guys, I'm back with another story I think you might enjoy! So, if you read my last post, then you'd know I have a partner whom I was trying to rendezvous with, well, a few dayz after my little god send incident, we met up, at the Balota Airstrip. It was about 11:00 for us, and so most people weren't online, thank god, but, there were some... So, we gear up, I find a, M4 along with a PU scope, and 2 mags of ten bullets, and 1 mag of 30. My friend already had an M4, and added a silencer and a few mags he found at the air strip. So, now fully geared, we go into the plan we had figured out for a long time... We make our way over the course of two more dayz, to the outskirts of what I call slayer city, the city which most people go when they first spawn. Our primary reason was to gather food and water, and hopefully make some new friends there, which is highly unlikely in dayz, as we find out. So, we head into a large structure, which seems to be a hospital, and head onto the roof. All of a sudden, a few shots ring out, the dirt graphic is kicked up around us, and i'm clipped in the shoulder. We dive for cover, and crawl over to the safety of inside the hospital. Worried our assailants would storm the building I quickly bandage up, and my partner and I proceed to move with some very SWAT like tactics, moving down the building, checking every corner. Since my buddy had a defibrillator, I wasn't to worried about falling unconscious, so I sprint across the open, hoping our enemies would fire, and my partner would see their position. It all went according to plan. The opposition fired at me, missing every shot, and my buddy quickly popped off a few rounds at their position. I move for the cover of a buildings corner, laying skirmish spray as I moved. Making it to my position, I quickly reload, but, before i could do much, another enemy from the window next to the first, opened up on my partner. Using some serious BF4 tactics, I stop mid-way through the reload, and yank out my handgun, aiming in, I hit the gunman in the shoulder. Stupidly on their part, one of the attackers moved his head into my view through the window, excitedly, I fire off three rounds, missing all three, guess I was to excited. My partner says to me (we were skyping) that we should move up, and clean them out of the house. Over-confidently, I agree, and I move up towards the closed door, while my friend fired off a few rounds to keep our enemies from seeing me. Once I had made it to the door, My partner sprints over, and takes the other side. He then crouches in front of the door, and I open it. Without a seconds notice, my friend opens up, bullets tearing through the corridor, shredding through a new-spawn who was stupid enough to enter the house from a back door, imagine that. Once again employing those SWAT tactics, we cautiously, move up to the top level, and crash through the first door... Nothing inside! I turn to the next door, just in time to hear a few shots go off from inside. Looks like our opponents still thought we were outside. Using the same tactic as before, we open the door, this time I am firing, and shred through two of our enemies. But, the last one began screaming in the mic not to kill him, so I stop firing. Stupid as that sounds, this last opponent didn't fill me with bullets, but instead, smacked that surrender button. Taking the chance, I told my friend to cuff our new prisoner, as I covered him. We then hatched a very mean plot...Forcing this guy to march with us, we take him to the docks, where I have have him climb the closest crane, and the follow him up quickly. My buddy monitoring things from below. Once at the top, I say over the com, to my prisoner, if you want to live, you have to do one simple task. He timidly agrees, I order him to the edge of the crane, the guy resists, and I tell him he won't be jumping off, and if he doesn't move, I will shoot. The dude slowly makes his way to the edge. Once there, I bring out a revolver, which is thirsty for its third kill (see last thread) and begin to load it. My prisoner turns around at the click, just in time to see my aiming it at his head. Everything goes silent, and a very serious RED moment ensues. My prisoner says to me calmly, 'so it ends like that', to which I respond, 'yea, just like that', bang! i watch the body collapse...

So, i'm still new to dayz, therefore I will skip right to the story. For the last few dayz, I had been extremely low on blood. My partner was killed, and we were separated. In a last dtich effort to regain blood levels, I ate all my food, and drank one of my water bottles dry...It worked, but barely. So, out of food, and nothing but one water bottle, and one canteen, i venture to a dock, high hopes I might find something to help me regain my blood levels. Nothing, so I decide, ok, I have a saline bag, I will simply find my friend, and hopefully he will donate some blood, and even more hopefully, there will be the slight chance we have compatible blood types. But... my hope was killed, I get a message, saying I was severely hungry, panicking I search the dock area...Nothing... Hope lost I start thinking up ways to hide my dead body, most appealing, I will swim out to sea, and no one would think to look there! As I walk with dismal moral, I spot a zombie, not caring what happens to me, I pull out my revolver, and pop off a cap to it, knowing that the sound would attract nearby zeds... But wait, what the heck? Thing isn't dying, infuriated by my luck, I raise my weapon and pop off shot after shot, finally the thing collapses...As I get close,I realize I had just murdered a player! I hate to kill I should add. Moral jumping, I sprint over to the body, praying he had food... No water, no food, but, he had soda...That helped me out, three cans, and my hunger levels were restored. Now here comes the funny part. I am still shocked at the idiocy of newspawns... Here I am, a mosin and fireaxe on my back, and a revolver in my hand. Walking, and I see a new spawn... He sprints over, immediately kick into defensive mode, I pull out my fire axe, and raise it, hoping to scare off the little idiot, he keeps coming, and throws a punch at my head, he misses, I swing my axe, and he doges left. The guy retreats backward, and I pull out my revolver, and, as all sensible people do when they see an enemy with a gun, this guy waves at my. Smiling to myself, i shoot him in the chest. A spurt of blood, and the guy takes off. He round a house, and tries to flank me, where me all of a sudden collapses on the ground. I check his body, and he has a TON of food! It was a god send. A god send cut short by a sniper on the cranes nearby...

One of the first people I met was a fully geared guy standing on the highway, he was talking to 2 new-spawns. I walked over to see if he could help me out. Next thing I know, one of the new-spawns reveals a wrench and charges the fully geared guy, whom proceeded to shoot both ass-holes in the face. It was to late or me to run, so I walked over calmly, and it turned out the fully geared dude was a'Hero' He let me loot the two ass-holes, showed me where to find water, and told me about a route I could take to find good gear. I assume i'm a lucky kinda guy if on of the first people I met didn't blow my head off. xD

What if an extra rifle costs 5 slots, that'll really damper the owner, yet allow them the rifle itself.

Im in a simple tag team, and we have everything figured out. I'm up in the treeline providing cover fire for my partner on the ground. He carries a beautiful m4. With this system, he can help new-spawns, and not have to worry about someone sneaking up on him. Yes were Hero/bandits, a little contradictory, we like to cuff, and take prisoners for blood bags.
