-In-Game Name and Teamspeak name: IGN: Dayy TSN: Jakob -How long have you been playing DayZ: 2 years as of now, and I was always interested in the game as a kid -What is your in-game activity like?: My playstyle is clear, a hardcore bandit, more specifically i'm a more or less used to leading small groups out on specific missions. In the past i've also negotiated with other players and clans on behalf of my own team. When i'm not busy doing something important ingame, I normally am gathering supplies and doing whatever I can to improve the homebase. -Prefered Role/Skill: Leader of 2-3 men, but I have no objection to following orders. Primarily in the afternoon during the week as a result of various academic, social, extra-curricular commitments. 4] Do you have Teamspeak 3 Including a Michrophone: Yes I do, although some complications with my personal laptop lead to my microphone cutting out at odd times. 5] Steam name: jacob9953 6] How long have you been playing DayZ: I purchased both DayZ Standalone, and the Arma 2 mod since the release of the standalone version, I bought the two together and have played ever since. 7] How many Clans have you been In: Very many, spanning several different games. My most notable clan (DayZ) which I lead myself was called Arconi, 10 players and we focused on Standalone, Epoch, and Arma 2 wasteland, and Arma 2 Takistan Life. Other then that I have not been in a solid group for quite some time, hence i am applying here. 8] Previous experience: My personal clan was mainly a roleplay team, and we had various different themes, from a cult to a police group. Otherwise most of my experience comes from lone-wolfing around the map. I have a total of; 180 hours on Arma 2 AO, 153 hours on DayZ (SA), and 86 hours into Arma 3. Although I am merely 15 years of age, I feel that I am mature compared to many who play these military-simulator games. 9] How many bandits have you killed: Very many over the course of my career as a survivor, I cannot give a solid figure. Yesterday, I was playing on a new Vanilla server, killing 2 bandits in an ambush after they followed me into Elektro, and a small group of 3 freshspawns whom attacked me between Cherno and Balota. 10] Are you willing to help other players: Of course! The apocalypse can only be survived by working together, although if I am betrayed I am not normally quick to help the same person.

I tried a landmine on the zed... it was.... Not very effective....

Skele gloves would be badass and the ability to etch markings onto a gun, using like a knife for something

I find that if it's something that I know is going to happen, I.E I see someone somewhere, and I know they are going to take shots at me. I lose my shit and the adrenaline starts pumping. In contrast, if something surprises me, I.E Say i'm looting like a heli-crash and a few shots ping near me, then I react quickly, and normally effectively, never giving time for the nervousness to fall in. I find this happens to me because with the latter situation, I personally became very focused, as I don't give a second thought to what COULD happen, and instead am completely set on making what I WANT to happen happen. With the first example, I have time to think, and normally am not as focused, my imagination runs wild and normally it's not thinking of the better. Both of these reactions I experience have positives and negatives. The first one normally destroys my rational, and I don't make the best decisions, and my aim is all over the place, but, as I am imagining the worst outcomes, I tend to act timidly, and quite cautiously, hearing every sound the game is feeding to me. The second situation, I make effective decisions, and my aim is on point... BUT, I am to focused on the task at hand, and sometimes miss key visual input, I.E I am so focused on smacking someone with lead bullets, that I miss seeing the hostile sniper moving in the treeline a few hundred meters away.

Pretty sweet, maybe if you added some actions with survivors, it´d be better.

I mainly stick with my central group, rarely do I find someone really cool ingame that I wanna run with all the time.

Basically, my idea is to have an extra option in the settings menu. This option essentially allows you to create your OWN status effect messages. f For example: Instead of "I'm feeling thirsty" someone could change it to "Damn I could use a drink." Thoughts?

Asshat on prison island tried to kill me with a derringer, he missed both shots. I put an SKS round into his torso, my buddy sneaks around behind him, and finishes the guy off :D pretty funny...

Sounds like a problem with your resolution, or aspect ration. Try tweaking it in the .cfg files, tbh, I don't play exp, as it's to shaky. If your a new player, stick to stable until you have a good grasp on how the game and community works.

Love this concept, i'd like to think that these types of things will be added alongside traps in one of the quarters this year (not sure which one)

This thread makes me feel bad, on the prison island, a guy walked in on my team and I. We cuffed him, and he turned out to be pretty chill, out of the blue one of my guys decided to spray our new friend down with an AK....

Mainly Ak-74, but otherwise, the tiitle says it all!

Sorry if I didn´t see it, but where can me and my team register to be whitelisted. Also, is the server still 24/7 daytime, and on average how many people normally are online??????

Just hoping someone could help me, I go to start the game, and as it loads, I get this error box: It happened after I was stress testing my laptop. I closed the game, after swapping the overall quality from High to Normal, and the resolution from my exact comp length/width, to windowed. EDIT: Just saw a topic on how to reset all settings, going to try that.
