Was *trying* to bring in the idea that DayZ is a GAME. Therefore some mechanics will always be there to keep things fun and entertaining.

I would suggest investing in some good camping gear and a combat knife and go hike in a forest near you. I dont think you get that this is a game, if the one life element isnt enough for you to make the game a survival one then you maybe baking the wrong horse. Dont get me wrong, you do make sense - except for the fact that no matter what you do, some people will choose to exploit mechanism in the game to get to their objectives.

Do you realize whats involved in putting a fail safe system like this in a game like DayZ? How do you tell what is "combat" for instance? Besides, if the player in combat with you manages to hide himself long enough to log off then maybe you ought to change to way you approach combat all together? -

My guess is, they are slowly bringing up the entities count on the servers at each revision. Not sure if you can imagine how difficult that is to deal with so many entities on a multiplayer game when you have new players joining all the time and a network bubble of close to 1km radius! -

You are not understanding how the alpha works. The devs have a roadmap on deploying features and fixing bugs - there is no say as to what gets fixed or not in patches, only the devs know. Maybe loot in tents was purposely removed to allow for more loot elsewhere? Either way, keep reporting genuine, reproducable bugs/glitches is the only way to help at present. Winging isnt helping. -

Went on a server that had frost like conditions, everything looked whiter and heavy steam coming off my player while breathing.
