Has anyone accidently shot their friend?

I did many moons ago. A sniper took him out in the woods somewhere so I took cover right behind my friend's corpse. Then I see a man stand in front of me. I fire my magnum and my friend dies. I had killed my friend that I am quite certain recovered from shock. The sniper was killed by my magnum a moment later. I randomly meet another friend on a road. He came at me with a crowbar, I axed him to death. I can't remember if he knew it was me or not when he decided to attack. He had earlier said he would kill me if he saw me. -
If it would be a lot like the movie, more melee weapons than firearms, then it would be awesome. I really should watch that movie again.

Good job on missing the time when they were all over the place and respawing. Fire once and you would be chased by 5-15 of them.

Player interactions and reactions are two of the best kinds of entertainment. -
As I'm not a server owner I have not bothered to read the rules for hosting. But I do know that servers on the Public Hive must all follow the same rules. So unless the rules clearly state that people with racist names are not allowed to play DayZ, I do not see why they need to be kicked. If this was on a Private Hive then I would not care who was kicked or for what reason. Also, regarding freedom of speech, that is just something I see as something all people should strive for.
