Yeah I am having this problem as well. The server I was playing has not come back online after restart either. Must be some kind of maintenance or other issue. Hopefully the new experimental patch is going stable :lol:

Every time I go to Cherno it's empty. Probably because everyone died running through Elektro trying to get there.

That probably won't happen until final release. It's best to not get attached.

I have a rig that can easily handle it, yet I keep PP turned off to keep higher frames and see enemy players better. Having said that, after I have been in any situation where I think I may have taken damage I will find a safe place and enable it to see if my screen is blurry. Knowing your health status is always a good thing.

New player as well and this pretty much sums up my experience as well. I am using my time during the alpha to learn the geography and practice player interactions.

New player here. Never played the mod and started up the game without reading any guides or anything and I am having a blast. I had so much fun playing the first day that I bought a copy for my friend so we could play together, and he is loving it too. I don't mind that the game doesn't hold your hand and that dying comes quite often. To be honest, with the amount of resources now online for this game (be it on YouTube or these forums) only a few hours is needed to fully understand the game mechanics as they are. I for one hope that the devs don't cave in too much to the people who aren't willing to accept the learning curve. And friend spawn system = dumb. Just my opinion.

IMO airfields are always kill zones. Nobody is going there to make friends. I've shot people there and been shot. It's just how it works.

As long as you keep leaderboards out of it, this would be an amazing feature.

I would love to see some of the ideas in this thread implemented into the game.

I have found loot in cars since update (mostly soda). But every IFV and helicopter I've seen has had nothing yet.

A couple people have mentioned checking the ship at Rify. I can confirm that I have found 2 there recently. One badly damaged and useless. The other pristine (ironically when I didn't even have a Mosin). I think a lot of the loot situation right now involves luck and is always subject to change. Happy hunting!

That building is an always visit when I spawn near Berezino, although I did get axed to death there the other day. Always good for a backpack. I too see people killing themselves in Solnichniy. I don't see why. I like that spawn quite a bit.

I've found it quite easy to get "healthy" in my experience. I make it my first priority when I spawn in with a new character. Eating as you go makes it so much easier and faster than stockpiling a bunch of food and waiting to eat it at a water pump.

Weird. I was in Polona tonight and found an abundance of food and a can opener. It's become my go-to city when I spawn on the east now. For the people saying that it's hard to become "healthy" due to stomach capacity, I just eat everything I find as I find it. It seems to work as a really efficient way to stack energy.

Alternative to bag full of food = eat the food.
