Why putting heart attacks in game makes no sense

Yeah, heart attacks are dumb. They should put in periods. -
There are maybe 2 servers that fill up at peak time but they are mostly dead. Do us aussies prefer regular?

Yeah I recently started playing hardcore, have encountered 2 people so far. First encounter in Berenzino he had an axe and asked me if I had any weapons I could give him, I was new spawn so just said no and ran away. Second was at NE airfield, he was geared and I ran into a building with my axe out, he was wearing a burlap sack on his head but said he could see fine (glitch?) I asked him if there were any guns at the airfield and he told me no he took the only one, then he ran off. If this was regular the guy with the axe would have chased me trying to chop me up and the gunned player would have shot me on sight. I think that there is definitely a different type of player on hardcore. Edit: Got KOS at NW Airfield in the firestation. lol

currently in a 300 second timeout for switching between separate hives. Yes, needs work. -

Man this idea of killing people having adverse effect on your character has been dredged up so many times. Such a bad idea. If your so hung up on KOS then don't get seen first. -

Seems like the hive is down. If I was you I would kill my fresh spawn so that it doesnt overwrite your character when they come back up. :) -
There was a thread like this yesterday. Coloured arm, leg or head rags was the favourite solution. edit: torn from a single coloured shirt you get 4 rags to share to your party.

Players need to have something to offer other players while they're alive. The way the game is going there will still be nothing another player can offer me that I can't get off his corpse and if I'm playing with friends they can heal me. Even if it were the case that people had something to offer you while they were alive, bandits will just kill them afterwards anyway lol

KOS isn't the problem, after being betrayed so many times in the mod I will always shoot first. Most people play with friends so working with strangers really isn't a necessity. Some things that will bring the PVP down to a better level will be: 1: End game content 2: Radios

Personally I don't like private hives, I like have the freedom to choose any server and play with different people every time. But what is gonna happen when we get vehicles and tents/houses, ammo crates? Are they going to be persistent over every server? If we have all our stuff on one server then we will end up staying on the same server anyway. So then what really is the point of having a persistent character across servers? I know some of you will say that you had many many cars and camps across different servers, well good for you. Issues instantly fixed with private hives: combat logging, loot hopping, ghosting. It's a nice idea Rocket, and maybe you have a great way to fix all these issues, but the whole community has brainstormed this and I don't see any amazing ideas. Thoughts? -

So after a bit of reading these are the best ideas I have heard so far: To combat server hopping:Player’s accrue time penalty for each server change, time penalties stack. To prevent combat logging/ghosting:Player’s character remains on location for 30 seconds after logging To prevent ghosting:If a player attempts to immediately log back in to a server where they were in proximity to a firefight they will be sent to the coast; this in conjunction with 1 and 2. These aren’t my ideas, these are ideas that I have seen in the forums. If all of these were implemented together it could solve this problem. -

I'm not saying I want private hives, I just don't see anyone coming up with solutions to the exploits. Where did I say this was my idea and that I wanted private hives? -
I don't know who would use 3rd person for combat, I play 3rd but always look down my sights in combat. I'm a fan of the LOS rendering idea. I don't play 3rd person for any kind of advantage, I play it because I like it.

I was gonna say the same thing. Maybe tearing up shirts to make coloured rags which can be bound to biceps, legs or as bandanas.
