Yea, Chris Roberts may have lots of people but even if you pay lots of money there still isn't much to do except for looking at your ships in some Hangar modules. Releasing intervals are even lower than for Dayz, even with hundreds of people working on it, apparently -

nah, may sound bland but the truth often is... i understand your statement what with being not DayZ if not based on Arma engine. It's about the look and feels, i know But the fact that this engine is not meant to be put in a multiplayer game is very obvious. There are major bugs that can't be fixed, no matter how hard they try to release patches and hotfixes. I foresay there will be no fix for the very annoying bug which lets players glitch through walls while moving in a building, which makes you visible to everyone outside for a second. Also there will be no fix for desync issues, no matter how hard the devs are working on server performance. And the glitchy interaction between players and objects can't be fixed without changing the whole architecture of that arma engine. It's just not meant to be played online. (edited) However, i love his game anyway -

dayz should not be on any arma engine at all 'cause it's utterly crap ...for being used in a mutliplayer game (edited for the sake of not sounding trollish) -

it only might stay a crappy game cause they've based it on arma engine, which is utterly crap! crap crap crap CRAAA-HAAAAP... *cough* most of the glitches are not fixable by any patch or hotfix whatsoever. But the idea and the game itself is so awesome that i wont give a crap about any glitches or bugs. DayZ is an awesome tactical shooter (even with this crappy movement glitches and all at this state) and also an awesome survival game which makes you think about your next steps. It really gets me full paranoia when i'm out there and i really enjoy to go totally berserk on the guys who killed one of my group... Awesome game (even for alpha) -

hey, is there a way to change the player render distance? i think it's awfully low for me since i can't see people on the road when they are 1 kilometer ahead of me.

i am trapped in death screen... yesterday i got shot at but didn't die - instead i was unconcious. Since it took too long for waking up i quit the game and i came back this evening to start as a freshspawn again. But now all i see after joining is the death screen without the ability to click on respawn... What to do now?

guys try "facetracknoir" which allows you to do headtracking even without ir-equipment i rather wait for occulus rift cause i hate to have the eyes on the monitor while moving my head...it's awkward -

^ Will animals like deer run away scared when i missfire a shot or when i approach them running? Also, will they scent me if i approach them with the wind in my back? I hope some of that will make it into the game cause it would make hunting very interesting and more challenging than it was in the mod.
